Part 36

Alya was upset that no one was supporting her.

        Alya : "Cabir, how can you say so? Nandini snatched Manik from me and Manik dumped me because of her. I am only trying to claim what is mine, but still you are saying that I am at fault."

        Cabir : "You are completely mistaken. Nandini didn't snatch Manik from you, she doesn't have any such intentions either. According to you, she is behind Manik because he is wealthy and handsome, but she doesn't give importance to those things."

        Cabir : "Nandini knew that you tried to push her off the stairs and also that you tried to frame her deliberately, but she didn't file a complaint against you. She also stopped Abhi from telling it to Manik and us. She didn't want that to be the reason for any argument between you and Manik or cause any rift in Fab6."

        Cabir : "She even knows that you hired the goons to kill her. In spite of what she has been through because of that incident, she isn't taking any action against you. You yourself gave her opportunities that she could have used to her advantage. She could have distanced you from Manik. She could have also got rid of you, but she didn't do any of that."

        Cabir : "Manik didn't dump you because of her. He broke up with you because you didn't trust him. Your possessive nature and insecurities were restraining him from doing what he wanted to do. He realized how it would impact him and the people he cares for, now and in the future. He wasn't happy with how things were going. You just made things worse for yourself by doing the things you did."

        Cabir : "You are still trying to put blame on Manik and Nandini instead of trying to figure out what is your fault. He isn't a possession that you will claim rights on him. Ask yourself, do you really love him or care for him? He has been fulfilling his duties towards you, but have you done the same?"

        Cabir : "Let's not go too back in time, let's just consider the last few days. So many things happened, he was hurt badly on that day, but you didn't even try to do anything about it. (Alya was busy thinking as to how her plan had failed and she was cursing the goons for not completing the task successfully.) He was feeling guilty that he was the reason behind whatever you did, but you didn't even try to pacify or convince him that it was your mistake and not his."

        Cabir : "Manik and Nandini don't share a relationship like you are assuming so far, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do so in the future. You were saying that he has known you for a few years, he has known her only for the past few months, but she understands and cares for him a lot better than you do. In spite of being injured herself, she not only noticed his injuries, but also got it treated. She tried to free him from his guilt and cheer him up, though she wasn't fine herself. She even took the bullet for him to save him. Would you have done the same for him?"

        Cabir : "I would advice you not to pursue him, he isn't going to come back to you no matter what you do. You didn't take care of your relationship when you had a chance to, it is too late now. He gave you a last chance too, but you didn't make use of it in the right way. If we or your parents would have corrected you when you made the first mistake, maybe this day wouldn't have come. But considering the state you were in, we didn't talk to you about it. You have committed mistakes that could have landed you in jail. You are free now, but that doesn't mean that you can do whatever you feel like and escape. If you don't correct yourself now, then your madness will land you in an asylum. This path will lead you only to your destruction."

        Manik reached home and went to Nandini's room. Nandini was looking at the wall ahead, but she was lost, so he tried to divert her mind.
