"Time to open my gift now." Daddy said.
I gave him my best smile. He handed me an odd shape gift with pink wrapping paper. I tore off the wrapping paper, inside there was a white bag with a red plus on it. A doctor's kit! Now, I can be just like Daddy. My first patientest is going to be Edward. He gets really grumpy sometimes..
"A doctors kit!" I screamed. "I get to be a doctor!"
I opened up the bag, inside of the bag there was a shots, a clip bored, thermometer, air pressure, a knee taper, an ear checker, scissors, band-aids, and a real doctors stethoscope. I pulled everything out. I get to play doctor! I can work with Daddy while he studies. Sometimes anyway.
"Thank you Daddy!" I yelled, running to give him a great big hug.
"Your welcome." He whispered, rubbing my back.
I got up from his lap. "You guys are all getting check-ups." I warned them. "You've been acting weird." I said quietly. Even though I knew they all could hear me.
