"Aht aht moe! You know that ain't going to work!" Aisha remarked to her sister, Zoe.

"A, it's not that bad! What's wrong with it?" Zoe twirled in the mirror.

"It's so short Z, and that wagon is hanging out," Aisha didn't like how the dress left nothing to the imagination.

"Andddd again....what's wrong with it?"

"Momma, what's a wagin?!"

Aisha looked at her 2 and 1/2 year old daughter, Liberty, wondering when did she become such a tape recorder.

"Ughhh a wagon is a cartlike object used to move items," Aisha smiled down at her angel.

Liberty shrugged her shoulders then went back to playing games on her aunt Z's phone.

"And mines is loaded down," Zoe said twerking in the mirror.

"I know you see my child in this dressing room Zo!"

Zoe continued to dance in the mirror. Liberty's attention was grabbed by her aunt encouraging herself to "get it". As a child surrounded by music, liberty hopped off the floor and started bouncing with her arms flailing every which way.

"Get it Libby! Get it Libby!" Zoe encouraged the off beat bop of her niece.

"Liberty Zora Blackshear! No ma'am!" Aisha said seeing her daughter start to get more rhythm and little hips moving to a steady beat.

" sowwy mommy," Liberty pouted and looked back at her aunt.

"Come here my lil chocolate bunny, thats sweeter than honey!" Zoe said that corny line all the time to Liberty. Aisha rolled her eyes.

Liberty looked back at her mom then walked the short distance to her aunt, receiving comfort.

"Momma just made cause her w-a-g-o-n is broke!" Zoe said kissing all over Libby's face while rolling her eyes at Aisha.

"S-h-u-t-u-p!" Aisha replied, "we have to get a move on, Ms. Trachelle asked to get Lib today."

"My nana?" Liberty asked raising her head from her aunts chest.

"Yes baby your nana."

"Ms. chelle! It's me, Aisha," Aisha banged on the screen door a little harder hoping Ms. Trachelle heard her.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Trachelle responded, opening the door, "there go my two babies!"

Aisha smiled, then the smell of food  started hitting her nose. "You're throwing down today Ms.Chelle?"

"Of course," Ms. Chelle reached down and grabbed Libby kissing all over her face, "I knew my baby would want her mac and cheese with Barbie shickin," she intentionally pronounced barbecue chicken like Libby. Libby was squealing with excitement as Ms.Chelle tickled her stomach.

"Well Ms. Chelle, I'll pick her up tomorrow after church. Call me if you need anything, ok? Be good Liberty, don't let nana tell me otherwise. Ok?" Aisha smiled down at her beautiful child. Liberty looked up with her light brown eyes and nodded, "ok mommy. Gimme sugah mommy!"

Aisha laughed at her baby while grabbing her out of her nana's arms. Aisha hugged her close and kissed her forehead, "I love you silly girl."

Aisha returned to her townhouse and noticed Zoë's car wasn't there. Aisha trudged up the porch steps and walked into her home. The smell of apple cinnamon greeted her at the door. Her favorite scent.

After taking off her shoe, Aisha sat in the living room. In her quiet house. Alone. She hated the silence, it gave room for all her thoughts to be released.
