D is for Daring

I worked really hard at work. I went back to my cousin's house almost midnight. I texted Jen about my tiring day. I did not text Arya because I am still battling with myself about my apparent attraction towards her.

Immediately right after texting my goodnight to Jen I fell asleep with a certain gorgeous lady in mind.

I woke up at dawn and packed my things to go back to the dorms. I had to leave early to evade the traffic that could ruin my day.

I was still groggy when I arrived at the dorm. I directly went to my bunk bed. I was so ready to go back to sleep because I had only night classes on Mondays and I did not have to go to the Campus Magazine's Office until late afternoon.

However, my plan of sleeping again was shattered by a certain goddess who decided to sleep on my bed.

If it was someone else I would have dragged their ass off my bed but it was the girl who made my dreams better. The woman who can make me hot by just biting her lower lip when she's thinking. Damn. I am so afraid of things I am feeling for her. I can no longer deny the attraction that keep pulling me towards her.

"Arya... You need to transfer to your own bed."

"Hmmmm.... no...no..."She mumbled with her eyes closed.

"Arya. This is my bed." I told her.

"Nuh...uh.. this... is ... my Zee's bed..." She mumbled and covered her face with my pillow.

She called me hers. Did I hear her right? I don't trust my hearing since I had multiple ear infections. Just forget it Zayne.

She was too cute to disturb but I needed sleep too. I told her to move a little I so could sleep. She moved and gave me enough space. I immediately fell asleep when she hugged me and snuggled on my neck. I can literally feel her warm breath but I was too sleepy to make a big deal out of it.

I woke up when someone stirred. I saw two beautiful brown orbs staring at me almost looking both shocked and amused.

"Hey" I gave her a wide smile.

"Uh. Sorry that I slept on your bed. I was waiting for your text last night while I was sitting here. I did not notice that I fell asleep already." She was rambling while looking down.She looked so cute.

"Don't be sorry. It was a nice surprise to see you early this morning" I smiled at her again.

"It is lunchtime. You owe me a lunch date" She told me with a grin and a wink.Wow. That was a quick change of attitude. This girl really surprises me.

Arya. Are you playing with my gay heart?

"I am not playing with your heart Zee. I need to eat lunch and want to eat it with you" She told me with a smirk.

O.O I said that out loud? Damn. Eat me now earth.

"O-okay. L-let's go" Now I am stuttering again. Way to go idiot.

We went in the cafeteria. I wanted to eat in silence but I do not think that will happen.

Zee you shouldn't be eating all the junk you are putting in your plate" Arya said while eyeing my plate.

I had put in lots of fries and a one pounder burger. I just shrugged at her comment. She linked our arms together as we looked for a table.

Arya kept talking, telling me everything that happened to the rest of her weekend. She had touched my hand and my arms every now and then which of course elicited a series of emotions that swirled mostly in my stomach.

I always try to convince myself that she was just doing what she usually does to a friend.

I couldn't help but be more enamored by her captivating beauty. I am not a saint. I do get tempted.

As I was lost in thought, Arya kept on motioning about something on her lip which I did not get until she touched my own lips. She wiped the smeared ketchup.

I felt embarrassed.I know I was beet red.

"There you go. Done" she gave me her disarming smile.

"T-thanks" damn. I should just go straight to my room and rethink my existence.  How can I be a jumble of idiocy when I am around her?

We left the cafeteria to change. I was too awkward and I know Arya felt that but she did not point it out. We had to go on separate ways.

See you later at dinner tonight. She said that as if I had no say on it. It was not a question.

How can I refuse her? And how will I get over my ever growing crush on her? These question kept gnawing inside me, making me an idiot frowning all throughout my classes.

The ringing bell brought me back to reality. And a smiling goddess greeted me as I went out of our classroom.

"I will walk with you to the dorms" again she told me what she wants without asking.

Who am I to go against such a beautiful lady?

Okay. How was your classes? I asked her because I could not think of anything else to say.

It was fine.  I was sleepy though. I was thinking if I could sleep on your bed again with you. DAMN. She looked at me as if asking if I agree with her request.

Yeah. Sure. I don't really mind. (Well, I do mind.  But what the hell. I cannot even stomach telling her squarely)

Yay! Sleeping with you is more comforting than my king sized bed at home. She exclaimed.

OMYgee is she even thinking about my poor gay feelings? I'll be damned.

But first, we have to eat dinner. I reminded her.

Of course,  I do not want you to be hungry going to bed. She said smilingly.

Yeah.  We wouldn't want that. I told her in agreement.

We went back to the dorms to drop our things and went back to the dining hall for dinner.

We ate together. It was almost too familiar as if we were doing it for years already.

She will be sleeping on my bed with me tonight. Will I be able to sleep at all?
