Kaylee POV

I woke up in Marinette's room. The first thing I had realized was that she had taken her pictures of Adrien down.

The second thing was that she was staring at me in utter shock.

"What?" I asked.

"Y-you... you talk in your sleep. You know..." her voice trailed off. I knew I had sometimes spoke in my sleep, and if I did it last night...

"I can explain-" I couldn't find the words.

"Do you know? How?" She insisted.

"I- I don't know how to explain this to you. I'm not from here."

"You already said that. If you know who Ladybug is... how can you know?" She was very persistent to that question.

"I know you're Ladybug, I know who Cat Noir is, who Rena Rouge, CaraPace, and all the others are, including Mayura and Hawkmoth. I'm not from... this... world." I didn't even know if that was true. How would I have gotten here? I was so out of it anyways, maybe she would think I was crazy- insane- and would just take me back "home".

But she didn't.

"What do you mean world?"

I sighed. "Where I come from, I don't live here in Paris, but in America, where Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug And Cat Noir is a show. I've been watching the show for a while now. That's why I was so terrified last night. I woke up in a house and family and world that wasn't even my own, and I don't even know why or how."

She stared in awe. I looked down at the floor.

We sat in silence for a good five minutes before we both realized we had school. It was Monday.

School was a whole bunch of things I already knew. This wasn't my home, not my school, so I didn't really listen as well as I normally would. I was too tired and stressed.

At lunch, everybody had heard how Marinette had found me, and they were all eager to talk to me.

"Your parents must be very worried about you Kaylee. You just moved here and their child goes missing." Alya said, summing up my greatest worry. I didn't know if my world was still going on, if my parents were looking for me as hard as I wished I could be for them.

"I never have had a good sense of direction. I don't even remember leaving my house." I tried laughing it off, but a squeak came out of my throat, giving away my fake mask. Nobody seemed to notice. Good.

By the end of lunch, I considered them all my friends, and they considered me the same. They made my mood better, but every time I looked at Adrien I felt a pang if guilt. I knew how much pain he was in. I also knew his father was keeping a great secret from him, and he deserved to know. I came close to saying something many times, each starting with " Adrien..." or " your father...". He gave me questioning glances each time, but it was an innocent look, not an accusing one. That made keeping it worse. I hadn't told Marinette Hawkmoth identity yet either. I was the only one who knew, that wasn't Hawkmoth himself or Mayura.

I never realized how heavy secrets like this sat on ones shoulders. This was horrible.
