Chapter 14

 Kaylee POV

I had tried to follow Mayura, but quickly lost her, so I stayed where I was. She was most likely going to the Agreste mansion, where Ladybug was. I knew I couldn't help there, they had it under control, and my powers were not something I had under control. I was not ready for Hawkmoth, and probably not Mayura or Sentimonsters either, but there I was, standing next to Joel fighting them.

I stood in front of myself, trying to trick me, but my replica mirrored every move, blocked every attack. Joel was having the same trouble. I was getting annoyed, easily, since I didn't know a solution, and Joel didn't either.

I stopped moving then, pretending I was hurt. My replica tried to attack and that's when I grabbed her arm, twisting it around her back as she fell and I rose above her, winning. I didn't know what to do from there, so I kept her pinned like that for a while, trying to figure out a way to help Joel who still couldn't get his clone pinned.

After about five minutes of keeping my now angry replica pinned, Cat Noir came with two objects. The ones that controlled the sentimonsters.

"Tell them to stop!" Joel yelled, and my face turned gleeful, and Cat Noir told them to stop, and they did. He gave me one key-chain and Joel the other, and then turned to leave.

"Cat Noir, are you okay?" I asked, already knowing the answer. "You know, don't you?"

He nodded. "He knows mine as well. I never expected..." his voice trailed off before he leaped off out of sight. I felt sorry for him. But at least now he knew the truth.

"What should we do?" Joel asked. "We can't just kill them. That would be cruel." An idea struck me in an instant. We would have to go back to our home. Our world. People would know we were missing. We couldn't be two places at once.
