"C'mon Y/n, lets just go to bed." Ponyboy tried to grab my arm but I stepped back.
"Darry! Cut the bullshit, I wasn't gone for that long!" I yelled at Darry, who was getting impatient, and rude.
"Yeah? Go spend a night in the lot, maybe you'll change your mind and come back!" He yelled back, barely stoping himself from shoving me into the wall.
"I will! Don't be surprised if I don't come back, because it ain't happening!" I huffed, and slammed the door behind me.
"God, no one ever cares about me." I mumbled, and walked to the lot expecting Johnny to be there.
"Johnny?" I looked around but couldn't see him.
This night couldn't get any worse.
I lit some loose cardboard I found on fire and put it in the fire pit.
I sat on one of the worn out truck benches and searched my pockets for a cigarette.
Nothing.
"Damnit," I huffed and leaned back. I took a long, deep breath, and closed my eyes to try to fall asleep.
I sat up uncomfortably cold, and pulled my leather jacket tighter around my arms.
"Ill show that bitch." I scoffed, and scooted closer to the fire to try and warm up.
I stared at the fire for awhile and thought about all my life decisions.
Finaly after about 30 minutes I started to doze off, but I was interrupted by a loud car horn, blaring right towards me. Added by a pair of bright headlights, flashing in my direction.
I irritatingly sat up, and looked away from the direction of the headlights.
"What do these bitches want?" I mumbled, suddenly realizing what was going on.
I've been jumped a couple times before, so I want that scared, rather nervous.
The bright blue Mustang parked as close as it could to the curb, and the engine was cut.
The sound of nothing scared me a little.
I heard several car doors open and close, then saw at least 5 tall, buff looking Soc's start to walk towards me.
"Hey baby." The one in front giggled.
I continued to stare at the fire, trying my best to ignore them.
"Greaser. Talk to me babe." He said again, walking a little more closer, to close for comfort. The others followed, chatting, and laughing.
I closed my eyes I pretended I couldn't hear them, maybe they would loose intrest.
"Hey grease." The Soc grabbed my fore arm and yanked it towards him.
"Stop it!" I yelped, I didn't want my arm to be pulled out of its socket.
"Oh so she does talk." One of the Soc's said, pulling a shit eating smirk.
"What should we do with this one Daniel?" Another Soc stepped closer.
The Soc gripping onto my fore arm, glanced at the fire and smirked.
"I'm kind of sick of beating people up, why don't we entertain ourselves boys?"
The Soc's all starting chatting amongst themselves, sounding a little confused, but definently all for whatever plan he had in mind.
Why did I start that fire? Why?!
I panicked.
The Soc signaled the others to come hold me down. Their heavy hands grabbed onto my arms and shoulders.
"Here's the deal you little brat. The more noise you make, the farther I hold your arm in that fire." The Soc growled.
"Please don't." I exhaled trying hard not to cry.
I struggled to get out of their grasp, but they just held tighter.
"Hell, just kill me already, I deserve to die. I ain't worth anything." I relaxed my body and just gave up.
The Soc's were taken back at this.
"God, what are you waiting for? Just get the damn thing over with." I held out both of my arms, showing the cuts and scars.
The Soc slowly grabbed my arm again, and looked at me, discombobulated.
I braced myself for the pain. I knew It would hurt, but I just didn't care.
I've lived for long enough, right? I've stayed alive for all these years, yet no one seemed to care. Not even my own brothers.I stoped struggling, and let them do what they were going to do.
Just as I thought it was about to go down, the Soc let go. I looked up to see Dallas Winston, beating the shit out of that god damn Soc.
The others didn't even bother to interact, they were already halfway down the street."What are you doing here out this late, kid?!" Dally walked over to me.
"Darry kicked me out I guess." I looked away, trying to avoid eye contact with him.
Dally shrugged and sat down next to me.
"Hell I don't know what I'm doing anymore." I exhaled.
We sat there in silence for a couple minutes.
"Thanks by the way." I mumbled, watching my breath float into the dark sky.
"Was wondering when you were gonna say it. Your welcome, anytime kiddo." Dally ruffled up my hair.
"What are you doing out this late?" I asked, flattening out my hair.
"I was at Bucks place. Needed some fresh air, I don't know." Dally shrugged and lit a cigarette.
"You got another one Dal?" I asked, gesturing towards his cancer stick.
"Yeah, here." He handed me one, and I sat up.
"I don't know about you, but I think you should go back and apologize. What did you do that was so bad anyway?" Dally asked.
"I came home late." I rolled my eyes. "I don't want to go back he doesn't care about me anyways."
"He does care about you! Why do you think he was so mad when you came back late?" Dally sat up.
I shrugged.
"He was worried about you Y/n." He stood up. "You have to go back anyways. I can't take you to Bucks, and I can't leave you out here, you'll get hypothermia."
"Ill be okay, if I get to cold Ill just go stay with Two." I took a puff on my cigar.
"C'mon Y/n, I'm going to walk you back. Or drag you back, whatever it takes." Dally offered his hand out.
I thought about it for a second. I didn't want to go back. Darry hated me, I just knew it.
"Fine." I sighed, and grabbed his hand.
"It'll be okay I promise." Dally pulled me up.
"I don't know about that." I said under my breath.
"Ill race you there." Dally smirked.
I scoffed.
"Might I remind you, that my twin brother, is number one on the track team." I smirked back.
"Doesn't change that fact that your any faster than me."
"Bet." I grinned.Holy lord, I am terribly sorry that it took so flippin long! It was just super hard to write because you gave me a short story line. But that's okay! I like to be challenged sometimes. It helps with my writing skills. ❤❤
