Someone, please save me.... (Shinkai)

Chapter 7

Kaito could feel the confused expression at his snort. Which made him chuckle now. It was amusing now that he thought back. So he looked at him and having a small glint of mischief in his eyes.

"How much do you think I scared the living hell out of everyone the last week when I haven't pulled any pranks. And how much did I really worry you?"

He sipped on his chocolate and the other snorted and soon had a sad expression. Kaito could tell that he probably had done both.

"Let me tell you this. It was both scary as I wasn't sure when you would explode and worried as you still were your cheery self, but with no pranks. At first, I thought you just were preparing a big prank at home, but when you never pulled a prank, I got more and more concerned..."

The other took a sip, and soon the food had been eaten and the drink had been drunk with this. There was a silent, as he had now a guilty expression. Kaito didn't mean to make the other that concerned, but at the same time, it made him have a warmth feeling.

"I am sorry for worrying you. I have to apologize to Akako as well. I guess I scared her probably thinking that I was going to do something. It isn't far fetched as I really was planning to take my life after the heist. I was that done with feeling the pain and everything else."

He let out a sigh as taking the plates and magic it at the sink and cleaning it. And putting it back to his cupboards. Saguru stared at him, and he could feel the eyes bore into him.

"I am glad that I didn't do it. I didn't think that you guys cared, but now knowing this I know at least I have two to three people who care for me. Aoko doesn't count as I can't anymore. She is way too harmful to me."

With this, he took the bag and put the bentos into it. A small smile was now on his lips, but it was clear that the other would put his cheery poker face up.

"Glad to see that I and Kudo got some sense in you. Oh and please never cut yourself anymore. I was horrified to know that my guess was right."

Kaito gave a grimace at this as he glanced at his wrists for a second. He would try not to harm himself anymore, but could he promise Hakuba this? It would be almost impossible, but it was a try worth it.

"I try not to, but I can't promise you this. You know I still have these feelings, but it got more bearable with you being there. I hope that you won't get too mad at me when it would happen..."

The Indigo male hoped that the other would be patient with him, and Kaito was sure he was after all the other never gave up believing that he was Kaito Kid. At least, now he was sure the other wouldn't just accuse him again in class. It was harmful in more then in just one way.

"It's fine, but talk first to me or to Kudo. I always will listen to you and I won't laugh or poke fun for you feeling like this."

That was making him feel better as his smile was a bit more now. At least he felt his loneliness almost vanish. He was sure that when the other would stay with him, and not push him away, the loneliness would disappear and with Kudo, it would make it so much better.

"Alright, enough depressing talk. We need to get going, and I have the feeling that Aoko will pull up the broom of doom at me."

The other shivered at the thought and there was still the fear that the girl would pull fish at him. Ugh, he shouldn't think about this. 

"Don't worry, I will go between her. I won't let her harm you anymore. Maybe we should change the school? I can try and get us to the school of Kudo. I am sure the other wouldn't mind."

Kaito blinked a few times as he was waging the pro's and con's and decided to agree to that plan. As long as he didn't have to deal with her, he was fine with any other schools. The school year just started and he was sure that he would be fine.

"Yeah, I think that is the best. I just can't anymore. I don't think I can handle this anymore."

That was making the other grimace as it was clear that Aoko was way too forceful.

"Then let me call the school right away. And the other school as well."

With this, the other pulled his phone out and began to call the first school and then Kudo's school. Everything turned out well, and so they went to school and to the school director first. As he had to know the reason. He hadn't said anything, and Saguru had done the talking.

The director had understood it and agreed that it was the best. He began to talk as well, telling him that he needed to have a new beginning. And that he couldn't handle it anymore. This time he didn't have a poker face, and the adult was shocked seeing him like this.

That was why he agreed instantly and that he would tell the other school about him. At least he didn't need to have to worry about Aoko anymore. Kaito wasn't hating her, but she has done more harm than good since this year. His issue came not just from her, but from his mother as well. Not to mention that Aoko used his phobia against him.

It was decided that he didn't need to explain other than moving to a different school, and they walked into the classroom. The teacher was informed of Kaito but hadn't said anything.

"Hello, um I will say goodbye now. I have decided to go to a different school. I had fun here, hope you won't be too bored without my pranks.~"

He chirped and had his poker face on and of course, Saguru noticed it but didn't point out how forced it looked like.

"Same goes with me. I will move to a different school as well. The reason is private and the same goes for Kaito. I won't let you guys ask for the reason."

Both bowed and packed the things they had. Aoko bored holes in both of them and Kaito could feel the pain grow again. It was just too painful right now, and maybe when they see each other in the future again, it would change. Maybe he could tell her about Kaito Kid, but he was sure she wouldn't understand after all...she resents him. She hates that part of him, so why bother trying to talk to her about Kid when she hates that part of him.

"Goodbye to you Nakamori-chan. I won't hide it anymore. You don't realize it, but you did hurt me with each time you pulled F-fish on me. I won't hide it anymore as we won't see each other for a while. I hope you think about what you have done."

With this he turned around and before that he walked up to Akako, giving her a new number. He decided to change his phone number.

"I am sorry that I worried you Akako. Call me um when you want to know about you know what."

He didn't want to specify it, and he did show for a moment what was under the poker face. The girl had a worried expression, but she gave him a soft smile.

"Sure, I want to know. You did hide it didn't you."

The other chuckled,  but it was chuckle that was hollow of any emotion. Why bother hiding it anymore.

"Of course, I won't tell anyone why.  But I trust you and I know you that you aren't someone who would blurt out a secret."

He winked at her as he knew that she knew that he was Kaito Kid. She was the second person who had known of him. Saguru was the first one. With this, he turned around again with that poker face. They needed to get to the other school and pick up Tantei-kun. He will be surprised to know that they will be going to school. Kaito didn't bother to look at anyone anymore. 

As they were out of school range he let out a sigh and his real feeling showed. His eyes were slightly dull and Saguru wasn't pointing it out.

"Don't worry. No one knows you and you can show your real face. After all, you don't need to hide it. I just don't want you to put that poker face up never again. I hated seeing it as it isn't you."
