Kaito felt exhausted as he had to plan a heist, he didn't want to do one yet. It wasn't planned and he was annoyed at the person who dared to challenge him. You probably wonder why it was that early? You see my dear reader...let's go back a few hours, shall we?

A few hours ago, precisely after he finally got his clothes from his old home, and the stuff he needed to the mansion of Kudo. Right now Shinichi and himself were sitting at the couch in the library. Kaito laying on the lap of Shinichi, let's just say he dozed off and woke up like this.

Kaito was comfortable, yet he felt embarrassed about it and how the heck had he landed at this situation? He didn't know but had put on his poker face after all he didn't want to get teased by the other for his blush. Shinichi was reading and hadn't noticed him waking up yet. That was until he probably felt Kaito stare at him. This made Shinichi chuckled softly and shook his head.

A pout made its way over him as he sat up, or he tried. Shinichi stopped him and he pouted more. It made the latter person look smug about it and Kaito just pout deepened. Shinichi grinned now at him and he resigned knowing that the other teen wouldn't let him go. Soon it was silent, but he was interrupted by Yusaku.

"Kaito you should-did I interrupt something?

That made his poker face almost shatter and he could feel that he was almost blushing, but he couldn't let that happen. Shinichi, on the other hand, had flushed cheeks. Now it was his turn to turn to look smug as he snuggled into the other's stomach and Shinichi let out a yelp at this. That was making him chuckle and he sat up. The expression of Yusaku was amused.

"It's fine, don't worry about. That my dear Shinichi was payback for not letting me sit up."

Shinichi was by now a blushing mess which made him feel weirdly happy and why was it that he found it adorable?

"You did come for something didn't you?"

The adult now changed his expression to something serious, as well as folding his arms together. It meant nothing good.

"Kaito someone is challenging Kid. And you can guess who it is."

This made him groan, as he could guess who it was. Jirokichi Suzuki, as he is the only one who sometimes challenging him.

"What does he now want me to try to steal and when?"

The adult gave Kaito a newspaper. Having one glance he let out a sigh, this was too early for him and just three days preparation. Is this old geezer kidding him?

"Great, and this is probably not Pandora. I guess Kaito Kid is back in action. A bit too early, but oh well can't change it."

Both Son and father had eye contact, but Kaito was too occupied in thinking about a plan.

"Do you need help?"

This brought him back to reality, as he thought about it and decided to accept it.

"Maybe you could get me a plan of the building and what the old geezer is planning? I am not quite sure as I don't want to drag you to deep in this."

The other teen waved his hand in a sign that it was fine and had a grin.

"Don't worry about it. I can do this, and be careful."

With this, the adult left to let the teen plan. He was surprised how his son instantly asked Kaito to assist him, but he should accept this. After all, he had the feeling that those two have some romantic feelings for each other. He wasn't sure that they realize that both like each other, but it wasn't his decision to butt in into this.

And here we are now back a few hours later. Jii-chan and himself are at his house in the hidden room. And he made sure that no one saw him. It took some planning and now they had managed to plan out thanks to Shinichi. What he still wondered what why it was called the moonstone? The stone wasn't formed like a moon and it made him just shrug it off.

"Hello?"

Saguru's voice seemed a bit too distressed to his liking and he could tell that the other was worried about something. That was making him instantly alarmed.

"I-"

The other couldn't get his sentence out.

"Saguru, calm down. What happened?"

On the other side was a long pause and he almost thought that the phone call had ended.

"I had a nightmare. T-they ki-kidnapped you after y-you got a-alone and th-then they t-tried to get you to t-talk were th-the moonstone was."

That was making him open his mouth, but he closed it again. That was a strange dream, too specific for his liking. Maybe Akako had something to do with this? It was possible, but he hoped not. Could it be that the other had magic properties? But since when? Not to mention how had Saguru knew about the moonstone?

"Alright, that is just a nightmare. I will be alright."

Another pause on the other side and he wondered why it was that Saguru was still in distress.

"You don't understand. These dreams sometimes end up real. Remember that time where I found you and when you got shot and fell down?"

That was making him a bit confused, what does that time have to with this dream?

"Yes, how could I forget that?"

The other let out a sigh and began to talk again.

"I dreamed of this. It happened like in that nightmare. Kaito, I think I sometimes I can see what will happen in the future"

That made him pause. Kaito got in contact with magic and he knew it exists because of this. Without this experience, he would have probably not believed this.

"Alright, I will try to be as careful I can be. Don't worry everything will turn out fine."

That seemed to reassure the other, as he seemed to be calmer.

"Thanks, that makes me feel better. I will hang up now and see you at the heist."

That was making him giddier as this will be interesting. Two of his critics will be there and couldn't wait to escape that fool who is still trying to challenge him.

"Alright, see you Tantei-san.~"

With this, the phone call ended and they continued to plan. It was now around 5 pm and Jii left him and he roamed around afterward. Soon something was found. His instinct told him to go to his parent's room. Why he wasn't sure, but it wasn't mattering to him right now. That something pointed on the nightstand at his mother's side. His heartfelt heavy and he felt a sting in it as thinking about his mother. Pushing it aside and walking up to the nightstand. He searched carefully around and soon he found something. It was hidden in the nightstand. His eyes narrowed as he opened the newfound drawer. His brow furrowed more as he saw a stick, as well two letters. One was from his father and another one was his mother.

'What?'

That was all he could say. His throat tightened, but he decided he wasn't ready opening it. So he put it back and closing it behind. For now, he would hide it from his friend as well from the adults. So he walked back and letting a sigh escape out of his mouth. He finally managed to get back to the Kudos. They ate together and talked about the heist and that both of the adults would stay near when something would go wrong. With this, the evening had ended and they went to sleep. There was still something on his mind, why could Saguru see in the future? He would have to ask Akako later on. Or maybe not, as he doesn't have her phone number, but he knew the red witch would call him. Or probably meet him...
