Mao: (lying in bed with Haruka behind him)
Haruka: (holding Mao in his arms) What's on your mind?
Mao: Do you think it is warm enough (looking at their egg in a small crib covered with blankets and candles nearby)
Haruka: I think so. Any warmer than that we'll end up turning it a hard boiled egg.
Mao: (hits Haruka playfully) Idiot.. (after a few minutes turns to face Haruka) What do you think about this?
Haruka: About what?
Mao: You know.. We'll have a baby dragon soon. I actually never thought I'd give birth. So this is all new and a surprise for me.
Haruka: So do I. (leans his forehead on to Mao's forehead) Truthfully, I am thrilled. I'm very much happy that we have a baby coming.. Or should I say hatching soon..
Mao: You are?
Haruka: (nods) Thank you for making this family possible.
Mao: (touches Haruka's cheek and smiles) I guess when our child hatches, your not the last dragon anymore.
Haruka: (smiles) I guess I'm not.

For a few weeks, they kept the dragon egg safe and warm. While waiting for the egg to hatch, they all made preparations for the arrival of the future dragon prince or princess.

Haruka: (setting up the nursery)
Mao: (holding the egg in his arms) Do we have everything set?
Haruka: I think we do. We used a neutral color since we don't know if we're having a girl or a boy.
Mao: True. I can't wait for our baby to come out.

Crack!

Haruka: Crack? (looks behind him and sees Mao still holding the egg)
Mao: Haruka, I didn't break it! (the cracking sound continues)
Haruka: Put it down the crib.
Mao: (puts the egg down and they both witness the egg about to hatch)

A sound of baby crying resonated the palace..

Jin, Yo, and Gou: (rushes towards the room) Is it what we think it is?
Haruka: Actually.. Not quiet.. (both Haruka and Mao turns to face them; each holding a baby in their arms)
Mao: They were two inside..
Jin: Twins?!
Mao: A boy and a girl..
Yo: Congratulations!!
Gou: I'll announce the birth of our prince amd princess!
Haruka: I guess we need to make some changes in the nursery. (only prepared the room for one baby)
Mao: We do.

And their days as parents begun..
