Chapter 10

Khalil POV

We walked back into the dining room and sat back down to finish dinner.

"That speech you gave was cute baby brother." Sienna said

"First off, I'm grown. Second, how did you hear us?"

"Well, you weren't exactly whispering and I was curious so I eavesdropped." she said with a shrug

"Nosey ass." I said back while mushing her head.

The rest of dinner went on perfectly, they all sang happy birthday to me and presented my birthday cobbler. Every year, my mom bakes our favorite deserts and gives it to us instead of cake, she's done it since we were kids. And because it is my birthday, she let me take it home for later which was great because I love my mom's peach cobbler. The whole time we laughed and joked around and before I knew it, it was 8 o'clock and it time to leave because we both had work tomorrow morning. I left the den and went to the dining room to get Avaa so we could go home,

"Hey y'all sorry to break up the fun, but baby it's time to go home."

"Awe 'home' that's so cute" Brit said getting all gushy, "damn she moved in quicker than Leah did." She tried to mumble that last part, but we all definitely heard her because Joy elbowed her in the side.

"Anndd that's our cue to head on out, come on baby."

I saw that Avaa's face had confusion written all over it, but she didn't ask about it. We said our quick good-byes and I told Jay that I'd see him at the office tomorrow. I walked Avaa to her side of the car and opened her door for her, but before she closed the door, I moved in between her legs and instinctually she wrapped them around me. We sat there like that for a minute before Avaa finally asked who Leah was.

"She's the ex that I was telling you about the other day, the one that aborted my kid, but don't even worry about her baby. I don't want to think about her quite honestly." I said, giving her a quick peck on the lips, but she pulled me in for another kiss that went deeper than it was supposed to. She pulled away breathlessly and smirked, "Happy birthday babydaddy."

"Thank you babymama."

She told me that there a surprise for me when we got home and if its pussy, I will be a very happy man. I got back to the house in record time anticipating some good birthday sex, but when we got to the bedroom she ain't strip, instead she told me to sit on the bed and wait. Avaa left the room and turned down the hall into another room, but she returned with bags in her hands and handed them to me. I looked in the smallest bag first and it had a box in it, I opened it and inside was the sonogram picture and 3D printing of it. I ran my fingers over the printing in amazement then looked up at Avaa who was staring back with a huge smile one her face.

"Look on the back of the printing."

I turned it over and there was an engraving that said "We can't wait to make memories with you, Love Avaa and your favorite trio." I read it aloud and looked back up at Avaa,

"I love it baby, thank you so much."

"Well I asked Julia to get the sonogram 3D printed like that and I was just going to have it for the babies' nursery, but then I remembered about your birthday and thought it'd be a perfect gift. I'm glad you like it."

I pulled her in for a big hug, "Lil you're squishing me and you have more gifts to open." I let her go and she handed me another bag, this one was a little bigger and in it was a beard and hair maintenance kit with all kinds of essential oils and some silk durags.

Before I opened my mouth, Avaa started rambling, "I saw how much work you put into making your  waves and beard look fresh, I thought it was a good idea. I mean if you don't like it, I can take it back and get something else-"
