Khalil POV
"Hey looks who's home" I said as the girls entered the den.
We all got to the mall around the same time, but once we got inside, we split up. But me and the guys have been home for a few hours, just chillin, waiting for the girls to get back home. Once we got the mall, there was no store in particular we wanted to stop at and I just wanted the boys to get whatever they wanted for their upcoming birthdays. We started out at Macy's and rounded the mall and ended up at Dick's at the other end because Koda needed new baseball cleats. And once we were done, I treated everybody to Auntie Anne's and then headed home.
"Daddy we shopped a lot" Ky said, dramatically plopping herself down on the couch next to me. Each of them had hella bags full of clothes, so I know they did some damage at them stores and to my credit card.
"I see babygirl, did y'all have a good time?"
"Uh uh" Ky said, leaning into my side. My babygirl was tired as hell.
"Look at my nails Daddy!" I heard one of the girl's say across the room and I knew it wasn't one of mine, so I looked up to see it was True talking to Eric.
"They look pretty True True!" he exclaimed, getting up so they could leave. No one was staying for dinner which was fine with me because I didn't feel like cooking for everybody. So after a few minutes of small talk, everyone started to migrate to the door. I watched everybody get themselves together and double check to make sure they had all their kids and items. I always laugh because my kid checklist is 7 kids long.
"Where is ya Mama?" I asked Ky, once everyone had gotten in their cars and left because even after all that, I still hadn't seen my wife.
"Right here" Avaa spoke up, walking into the den, somehow hearing me from wherever she was. "I put Pri down in her crib and then Kee needed some help in the bathroom" she said, walking over and giving me a kiss.
"Show Daddy what you got" Avaa said to Ky and Kheris came running into the den.
"I wanna show you too Daddy!" Kher whined.
"Kheris Maliah..." I said simply because we were in the process of trying to break her out of that whining habit. And yes, after years of suggesting Maliah for our daughter's name, Avaa finally cracked on our second daughter and we agreed to give her that middle name because we, of course, had to keep up the K theme. "You don't have to whine, you can show me your stuff too," I said and she perked up, "go get it princess" I continued and she ran to find her bags, while Avaa took a seat next to me.
"Oh Mama! You wanna see what we got too?" Jr asked excitedly.
"Yeah, let me see" she replied and the boys got up to get their bags as well.
The kids spent the next hour giving us a mini fashion show to show off their new stuff. Each triplet had gotten two new birthday outfits; one for school because they'll be in school on their actual birthday on Monday and then another one for their birthday party this Saturday. Ky even got accessories to go with her outfit and they all got new shoes.
We wanted them to coordinate, so their school outfits are similar ones from Balmain- I didn't want them to overdo it in school because it is just school after all. King and Jr. decided they wanted to match completely, so I got them a black polo shirt with Balmain going down the arm in gold lettering to go with a pair of simple blue jeans. And Ky got a similar black shirt with the gold lettering, but her's went across the chest and Avaa got her a jean mini skirt to go with it.
"I hope you bought tights or something to go under that skirt" I commented once I saw the skirt.
"Daddyyy" she whined a bit.
