What the heck?

The past couple of days has been hard for Jennifer. The doctors told her not to do anything physical. That of course includes working out and her dancing, how can she live without dancing. It's just been two days since she was told to do so and she's already tired of it, how can she do that for 28 more days? It's 10 o'clock and she's just woken up. She slowly walks down to have breakfast with the rest of her family. Everyone was waiting for her but no one wanted to wake her up.

"Good morning " Jen shouts
"Mom you took teen years to wake up " max says smiling
"Sorry, but you guys didn't have to wait for me or if you wanted me that bad you could have just wake up " Jen replies
"Well... you know you have to rest, that what the doctors said" David says
"Whatever. I start feeling like an old lazy woman and it sucks" Jen with an annoyed face

They hold hands as they pray. They eat in silence. After eating Jen jokes about her going to the gym, her mother gives her the dead eye and the rolls her eyes. The kids goes to the park with Lynda and Tiana. The house is quiet and boring again. Jen goes up to her bathroom to get ready for the day. After two hours in the bathroom she finally comes out and sees Leah sitting on her bed.
"Hi lazy" Leah smirks 😏
"Shut up, you know I don't have a choice. What do you want?" Jen says
"Nothing. Just came to see you." Leah replies
"Can't I do that anymore?" She added
"Of course baby, of course " Jen says
Jen goes to her closest and pick a sports bra and a pair of leggings. She then add a hoodie of top.

"Thought you weren't supposed to not workout ?" Leah says🤨
"Who said I was?" Jen answers
"You clothes did" Leah says

Jen sits beside Leah on the bed. Jen tells Leah about the texts that Alex sent her, she wasn't even mad that Jen didn't tells exactly when it happened. Her crazy thoughts came out right away.
"So you're getting laid tonight?" Leah says with a stupid smile in her face
"Ew Leah . He's just a friend. He just wanted to check on me" Jen says with a frown on her face
"Since when did you become "friends" with him? Or you mean "friends with benefits." Leah says 😏😏
"Go to hell with your thoughts, he just wanted to check on." She says😤
"He definitely will" Leah replies😝
"Nothing is going to happen tonight, and no any other nights. And btw the doctor advised me not to do anything physically." Jen says
"Yes, only if you can resist all that hotness." Leah smirks 🤪
"Excuse me, I have to go. I have somethings to do before tonight, some actual work." Jen says as she steps out of the bed and head to the door. Leah follows her and is making some weird noses.

5:30 pm

Alex texts Jen and tells her that he's on his way. Jen runs upstairs to change, she knows that she's not supposed to run but still she does. She doesn't want to overdress so she just picks up something simple. She puts on a some high waist denim shorts and a guess hoodie. She's doing her makeup and all of a sudden she hears the doors ringing. It's Alex. She tries to hurry as she tells Max to open the door. Max the yell "mom it's the man from the park ". "Ok, baby let him in and I'll there within a second." Jen yells back. After ten minutes she goes down and see Alex standing by the door. He just stares at her as she walks down.
"You didn't have to stand there, come on in." Jen says leaning for a hug. They hug and Jen leads him to the living-room. Alex just stares at her. She starts feeling uncomfortable and Alex felt it so he stop. She tells her kids to come and say hi, they did and then they left. Everyone left the living room. It's just the two of them there.

"Do you want anything to drink?" Jen ask him
"No, I'm ok" he replies

They sat a couch and talked. He asks her some questions about Benny Jen answer them but is annoyed. They then changed the subject and he asked her about what she was doing since she's not supposed to be working. Jen replies by telling him about everything she does and she then tells him that not everything that she does is physically some of them or like on the computer or something. He just stares at her while she was talking, it feels kind of uncomfortable but she tries to hide it and all of a sudden he leans for a kiss and kisses her on the lips, so passionately.

Jen's POV
What the heck? I thought he said they we are just friends, why is he kissing me. But his lips are so soft I don't know what to do. No, we can't do this. My kids can come at anytime. I lean back and he slowly let go of me. What the hell just happened? I'm in shock so is he at least what I think. I walk away. 😭

Alex's POV
Oh god what did I just do. What is she doing to think about me? What was I supposed to do, I like her. And now I've messed everything up. She just walks away from me? I'm such an idiot.
"Jennifer...... Jennifer I'm sorry " I says
"Please, come back. I really am sorry. I didn't mean to" I add
She doesn't care, she just walks away. And I can hear her sobbing in silence. I wait there for twenty minutes in hope of that she will return but she doesn't return. I had no choice then going home. But before they I text her "I'm sorry"...😣😣
