Girlfriend WHO??

Alex's POV
I miss Jennifer so much, I just wanted to tell her how I feel but I can't. I don't know how, I've never been the one to express feelings. I'm gonna call her and see if we can meet.

Phone call
"Hi Jennifer" I say
"Heyy Alex." She replies, her voice gives me life
"Called to know what's up? I mean hyd?" I say
"I'm fine, just chilling you know? With my kids"she says
"Chilling?, so you're not working today?" I ask
"No, it's a day off today. Wbu?" She asks
"Im at home too. I had a doctors appointment with my daughter so I just took a day off" I lie. I don't know why
"Well I just thought since this day is going to be quite long why not do something fun, you know?" I add
"Oh yeah?" She says. I can't tell if It's an answer or a question.
"Would you like to do something later." I ask
"I don't know. like what?" She asks
"Maybe go to the movie or something since you don't want to do anything "physical" I say laughing
"Great, pick me up at 8:30pm?" She ask
"Fantastic, I'll be there" I say
  Omg this couldn't  get better.

Hours later......
Jennifer's POV

I have to get ready Alex will be here in any minute. I don't know why I'm nervous, it's just Alex.

Jen gets ready for tonight. "Emme, you know what time you're going to bed right. I'll try to make it home in time. Have fun with Tiana." I tell Emme and she nods as I'm putting on my shoes. The door rings and it's Alex. I hurry. "Bye my coco's, see you soon" I say running to the door.

"Ready?" I tell Alex as I lean for a hug
"You look, amazing " he says
I smile as we get in the car
"Which movie are we watching?" I ask
"I don't know, anything you want" he says
"The shape of water? I hear it's amazing " I say
"Yeah sure" he says

They are at the cinema and they meet one of Alex's Not-so-kind friend with his girlfriend.
"Alex? Nice to see you again." He says
"Gary? What are you doing here" Alex say annoyed
"My girl wanted to see a movie, so I took her here." He says kissing his girlfriend and then looking at Alex smiling
"Ohh, I see you've found yourself a sexy one. A Latina." He says tapping Alex on the shoulder
"Yeah, Gary this is my girlfriend Jennifer" Alex says
"Baby, this is Gary and his girlfriend Lisa" Alex tells Jen embarrassed
"Nice to meet you miss sexy Lopez" Gary says laughing and looking at Alex
"Nice to see you too, we have to go" Alex says holding Jen's hips as they walk away
"Girlfriend? Seriously?" Jen whispers
"I'm so sorry, I just had to do it. He's really annoying. He always make fun of me because I can't get a "nice looking girl". Jennifer I'm really sorry I had to lie. I had nothing else to say you don't understand" Alex say
"Yeah, I understand we all have those friends. Come on don't worry just forget it , the movie will start soon let's go i want popcorn" Jen says
"Let's get it then" Alex smile with relief

They get their seats and just when the movie is about to start, Gary and his girlfriend come in and seat right in front of them. Alex signs. "Fuck" he then whispers
"Alex, you have the same taste as my girlfriend" Gary laughs
"Shhhhh" someone says

45 minutes later....
Gary turns around seeing Jennifer resting her head on Alex's shoulder. He looks at Alex, Smiles and then grabs his girlfriend by her hair and gently start kissing her. Alex rolls his eyes know that Gary is doing it on purpose just so Alex sees. Gary stops, looks at Alex again, smirks and continues with what he's doing. Alex sighs heavily and it catches Jennifer's attention, Jennifer who was so focused on the movie that she didn't even notice that her head was on Alex's shoulder. "What's wrong?" Jen asks "nothing" Alex replies "you don't like the movie?" She asks again "no, it's amazing" he says
"What else is it then?" She says looking down "oh I see. I totally understand why you-" she says then she holds his hand "is ok, you've got this" she tell him and he's just looking at her confused
She puts her hands on Alex's shirt as if she's trying to take his shirt off "baby not now, we can do it later" Alex says and Gary look directly in shock
"Pero mi amor, I want you now. This movie is boring " Jen says desperately knowing that she got Gary's attention
"Baby, you chose this movie. Let's just watch is and I'll give it to you later" Alex says removing Jen's hand from his shirt Gary is still watching he didn't know that Alex could be so "wanted" by a woman as hot as Jlo
"Excuse me?" Jen says "you're looking at the wrong side, the screen is not here. Turn around and you'll see it." She tells Gary as Alex is laughing. They both laugh and Jen gets on top of Alex and starts kissing his neck then she whispers "you're a great actor, did you know that?" "You are and a even better actress" he whispers back
They start kissing and Jen can't help it and starts making noises. "Eww, get a room" someone yells "fuck you" Jen yells back "you are the one who's about to get fucked" someone else yells "that's right, and it's gonna happen RIGHT HERE" she says before Alex grabs her head and starts making out with her. Gary rolls his eyes and  tells his girlfriend that they can leave or something . After a while Jen goes back to her place. And continues watching the movie acting like nothing happened.

The movie is finished and just as they're going out Alex sees Gary before he noticed. He grabs Jen by her waist and they walk looking at each other. "What are you going? Jen says with a fake smile "just one last time, pls" Alex says and kisses her. He knows that Gary is watching so he kisses her even more passionately. Then he  looks at Gary and says "what happened, you just disappeared from the movie". "That shit was boring af." Says looking away "it's funny because my  lady here said the exact same thing. You have the same taste as my girlfriend" Alex says laughing and hold Jennifer's hand as they leave.

In the car
"Jennifer.. I'm sorry. Again. I know I shouldn't been using you to get back at my friend and I'm really sorry about that." Alex says
Jen starts tearing up remembering her past relationships.
"Jennifer... pls. Forgive me. I really didn't mean to hur-" Alex says wiping away Jennifer's tears
"I... it's not that just—" she burst out crying.
"Baby.. I mean Jen....pls look at me" Alex says
"My feelings for you are real, I'm sorry that it had to come out that way. I really love you. Pls don't cry" he continues
For a moment it's just silence. Then Jen says "pls take me home". Alex starts driving. It's quiet. Jen stopped crying. Her face is red and she covering with her hands.
When they arrives Alex opens the door for Jen who's not even looking. She just walks away "Jennifer....... pls. I'm sorry" Alex says before she disappears
