They continued to drive on, Michael taking them to the next random place. Ember had decided they weren't really that random, they had a pattern and Ember was beginning to grasp what it was. All these places had got her reminiscing about everything that happened to them while they were together.

The thing that happened to come to mind then, was when they spent their first night together. The fondness of these memories came back as she smiled.

"Michael." She said as the car made a turn.

"Ember." Michael responded, making her laugh.

"Do you remember our first night that we spent together?" She asked and Michael half smiled.

"How could I possibly forget." He replied

---Flashback---
Ember had been rushing around her house, trying to get it nice and clean. She was expecting Michael to be over in around 15 minutes and she was nervous. She wanted for him to like her home, and she found it odd about how much she wanted that.

5 minutes had passed and she was finally able to be satisfied with what she had done. She let out a breath as she let down her now vibrant pink hair (she took Michael's suggestion from about a week earlier). She then decided to bake.

She had ten minutes to spare and there really wasn't a lot to eat at the house.

She was beginning to measure out the flour she was going to need when she heard a knock on her door. How odd, she thought. Michael wasn't supposed to be there for 10 more minutes. Nevertheless, Ember wiped her hands on her jeans and walked to answer the door. She went down the line of locks with ease before pulling the door open.

"Good evening." Michael said to her when he saw her.

"And to you." Ember replied as she looked down at her black jeans which she had stupidly decided to wipe white flour on. She had decided to leave it since she was probably going to get dirtier baking anyways.

"Ember, what're you making?" Michael asked as he poked his head out from the kitchen.

"Cookies." Ember replied as she made her way over to the kitchen to finish what she had started.

"Can I help?" Michael asked her and she nodded.

"Yes, you shall be declared my assistant." Ember laughed as she continued measuring flour.

"Who says I'm the assistant?'' Michael asked as he stood next to her.

"The person who started the baking." Ember replied as she flicked some flour at him.

"But I'm the guest." Michael countered as he flicked some flour at her.

"But I own this kitchen." Ember flicked a little bit more flour at him. The continued flicking flour at each other until it turned into an all out flour war. When it was over, the aftermath was a counter full of flour and they're clothes looked like they had just been snowed on.

"We made a mess." Ember said, stating the obvious.

"Yeah I know." Michael smirked at her as he began writing words in the flour. Ember leaned into him so she could look at what he was writing.

"Don't look yet!" Michael said loudly as Ember laughed and backed away for awhile, admiring the 'artist' at his work.

"Ok you can see now." Michael backed away from the counter and Ember walked over and read the flour letters which read out, 'Be my girlfriend?'. Ember beamed as she began to write a response in the rest of the flour.

"Go look." Ember pointed to it and Michael walked back over to the counter and his eyes grew wide in delight when he read the 'yes' written in the white powder. Michael walked over to her and hugged her. Ember hugged back as tightly as she could.

"Should we continue these cookies lovely girlfriend?" Michael asked Ember and she smiled.

"I think I've had enough flour for the night." She laughed.

"Do you wanna stay overnight?" Ember asked Michael suddenly as she walked back downstairs in knee length sweatpants and a black tank top.

"Yeah I'd love to." Michael leaned his head back from where he was on her couch. "I can make due with this couch."

"You don't have to sleep on the couch, as a proper house owning person you can sleep in my bedroom. Weather it's on the floor or in my bed, we can trade off." Ember shrugged as she sat down next to Michael.

"Are you sure?" Michael turned to Ember and she nodded.

"Completely." She replied and Michael sighed.

"Your the house owning person." He said and Ember laughed.

"Now you've got it!" She laughed. She went and joined him as they sat on the couch. Though the TV was on Ember wasn't paying attention. She hadn't fully grasped the idea that the person sitting next to her was her boyfriend. She tried to think on all of her other boyfriends she had when she was younger. To her disappointment nothing came to mind. The truth is she usually wasn't the person who the guys wanted to date.

The other thing was, she never actually thought of any of the guys she hung out with as anything more than friends. Ember had constantly been encouraged by her friends to go at least flirt with a guy. The truth though, was that Ember was completely awkward when it came to that thing.

"What's wrong?" Michael asked her snapping out of her thinking.

"Oh nothing, just thinking is all." Ember shrugged.

"About..?" Michael motioned for her to continue.

"School." She responded as she focused on making her answers as vague as possible. She didn't usually let anyone inside her head. Ember was afraid that when they understood they would really realize how twisted she is and they would leave. Ember didn't want the same fate to happen to Michael. This is how it has to be, she thought.

They spent the next couple minutes in silence and Ember found herself yawning. Michael must've noticed because the amused expression on his face showed he had.

"Someone's tired." He laughed and Ember was going to say 'yes', but instead she was interrupted by another yawn. So, instead she just nodded.

So they headed up the stairs to her bedroom and after Michael modified what he was wearing, Ember made a bed for herself on the soft dark brown carpet.

"Nonsense, you're not sleeping on the floor." Michael told her as he sat up in her bed. Ember sighed and got up.

"Then where do you want me to sleep?" She asked him and Michael scooted over and patted the empty spot on the bed next to him. Ember smiled and climbed in next to him.

"Tell me if I'm being bothersome, 'cause I can always sleep on the couch." She informed him and Michael let out a quick laugh. They laid in silence for awhile until she took a deep breath and moved herself closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his waist and he stayed stock still for a moment before he placed a hesitant arm around her waist. She felt a smile spread across her face and sleep followed soon after.

All the while she slept Ember knew she would have to have her own memory storage in her mind for all the time she spent and would spend with Michael.
