Chapter 10

Scarlett's POV

"OHHH!!" The boys cheered as i beat Liam in yet another game of arm wrestling.

I sighed victoriously. "Oh Liam. Just give it up would ya? I'm ten times stronger than you. You're never gonna win."

"My turn!" Harry said, pushing Liam out of the chair. He grasped my hand and propped his elbow on the table, preparing to make my knuckles reach the surface. We've been playing this game for a while. After that whole argument with Louis, they took me out for a couple drinks and then brought me to their room to play some games. I rolled my eyes as Harry used all his force to try and make my hand budge the slightest bit. I was egging him on; keeping my hand in the air rather than slamming his arm down. I did a fake yawn as he started using both of his hands to try to move me.

"Done yet?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at the struggling Harry.

"Finish him already!" Niall screamed. I breathed a chuckle and easily slammed both of Harry's hands to the table.

i chuckled. "Any of you losers wanna step up to the plate?" I asked smugly.

"No way. My hands are still sore." Zayn replied, rubbing his wrists.

"Not my fault you guys wanted to play this game." I laid back in my chair with my hands folded on my stomach and keeping a smirk on my face.

At that moment, Louis walked in a bit fumed but not as much as before. He stormed into his room without taking a look at us and slammed the door causing the table to shake. I looked to the ground, still a little depressed about our conversation.

"I think i should go." I said, standing from my seat.

"Try not to worry about it too much. He'll get over it." Liam said. I nodded 'thanks' and began making my way out of their room. Before i headed towards the elevator, I decided to stop by the demon's abode. I knocked on their door only to have Kalona swing it open with a grin on his face.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the little trouble maker." He leaned on the door frame, crossing his arms before stepping out of the way to let me in. "Join us, won't you?" I glared at him while making my way into their room. I noticed Brelekk and Reidan's strength were fully restored from our battle. They must've used our healing equipment.

"I see you guys have healed nicely." I said referring to the two who attacked me a while ago.

"Yes well, your gadgets are quite helpful." Kalona answered. He walked over and sat on the couch armrest, facing me. "So." He began. "how was your day today?" He was purposely acting innocent and oblivious to the fact that he just had me expose my identity.

I rolled my eyes at his comment and said "You know damn well how it went." I crossed my arms. "Is there a reason why you practically forced me to reveal who i really am?"

"It was about time they figured out who you were. I mean, come on! It's not nice to keep secrets from your 'friends'". He replied in a childish tone.

"You do realize that they know who you are too, right?"

"Yep. But if they value their life, they won't do anything to rat us out. They'll keep their distance. Which reminds me, i heard that a certain someone is already avoiding you. I believe his name was...Louis?" I clenched my fists. "Did i strike a nerve?" He asked innocently.

"He had nothing to do with this." i seethed. "You didn't have to go and drag them all into this mess! They were all doing fine until you decided to cause problems."

He smirked as if he just won the argument. "You have feelings for him, i presume?" He raised an eyebrow

I paused before answering. "Of course not. They're nothing more than acquaintances that you use as a cover up."
