Chapter 15
Scarlett's POV
"Wakey, Wakey. Eggs and Bakey!" Someone said, switching on the lights and opening the door somewhat abruptly. I groaned on my mattress and slowly sat up on the spot, rubbing the blurriness from my eyes. I peered through my eyelids and saw Liam, Harry, and Zayn standing over my bed holding a tray in their hands.
"Hey. What's going on?" I asked
"We knew you were still probably going to be a bit fuzzy after last night so we decided to bring you some breakfast." Liam replied, laying the tray onto my lap.
"You didn't have to do that."
"Oh just hush and eat it!" Zayn said playfully. I smiled up at them and began to munch on the food in front of me. "So what's on the schedule today?" I said in between chews.
"We have a concert today. You are going to stay here and rest up. You definitly need a break." Harry said.
"What?!" I pushed the tray away and flipped the covers off so that i could stand up and be at level with them. "I'm not just gonna stay here!"
"Yes you are." Liam said calmly while pushing me back down on the bed. "You've done enough. You were badly hurt yesterday and you need a day to rest. We already talked it over with Paul and he agreed. Just relax".
"But what if the Zinthovas try something on you?"
"Alakai will be there." Harry said, popping a piece of my bacon into his mouth. "He'll protect us while you're here. He thinks its a good idea for you to get away from all the pressure for a while."
"Well what if-"
"No." Liam said, cutting me off.
"How bout i-"
"No"
"Can't i just-"
"No"
"But what abou-"
"No buts."
I groaned in defeat and slumped in my spot. "Fine..."
The boys smiled proudly as i put myself under the covers again and continued to eat the remnants of my breakfast.
"Good" Liam continued. "We'll be back soon. Don't get into any trouble missy!" He playfully pointed a finger at me and gave me a stern glare, trying to keep himself from smiling. With that, the three boys disappeared behind the door leaving me all alone in my room.
Now what am i supposed to do? I got up from my bed and started walking around. I probably look like an idiot just wandering everywhere. I let out a sigh of frustration and decided i should go for a quick shower. Wouldn't hurt, would it?
I stepped inside the bath and let the steaming water cleanse my body. I washed off all impurities and let my body warm under the heat.
I breathed out, letting myself relax in this heaven. I really did need a break. After everything that's happened, I couldn't deal with more trouble.
....Woops....Spoke too soon.
Just as i was about to shut the water off, I felt a strong presence close by. And i know it isn't Alakai. I turned off the shower and stepped into the cold air, wrapping a towel around my torso. I carefully made my way to the door and placed my ear to it. Yep...Someone is definitely here. I put my hand on the doorknob, preparing myself for any attack to come my way.
I quickly grabbed the hairdryer that was sitting near by and raised it above my head, ready to throw.
1, 2....3!!!
I flung the door open and forcefully threw the hairdryer directly at the person standing in the middle of the room. I expected it to knock him out, considering how hard i tossed it. But instead, I found it sitting in the man's hand, not even making contact with any other part of his body.
"That's no way to welcome a friend..."
