Chapter 1: A trip to earth

Chapter 1

Scarlett's POV (Pretend its in an alien language)

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'VE ESCAPED?!" I screamed at the group of guards who kept their heads down in shame.

"W-we tried t-to stop them. B-but they were t-too strong.." One of the men stuttered, afraid of how i'll react.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL US FOR BACK UP INSTEAD OF LETTING THEM GET AWAY?!" 

"We're s-sorry ma'am..we didn't know what we were thinking." I paused, trying to calm myself down before i did some damage on these people. "Please forgive us ma'am. We'll do whatever it takes to retrieve them."

I groaned in frustration. "You better hope Alakai doesn't rip your heads off when i tell him what you've done." I spoke in a deep, intimidating voice before i turned on my heel and stomped away. I was furious.

Those ignorant guards let the deadliest people in the whole universe slip through their fingers. I angrily made my way to Alakai, the all-powerful master's chambers where he was comfortably sitting in the center inspecting some of our newly made weapons.

"Master may i speak with you?" I said while kneeling on one knee.

"Oh Scarlett! You know we're close enough for you to call me 'Alakai'. Come in, come in." He replied while gesturing for me to come closer. Me and Alakai were practically family. We always watched each others' back when we were younger and made sure nothing seperated us. Now he was the King of our planet and my master while i was part of the most elite, powerful, and skillful teams this planet has to offer. "Alright. Now what is it you've come to talk about?"

"Well, you see sir-"

Alakai interupted while putting his hand up. "Drop the whole formal shit and just talk to me like you usually do, would ya?" 

I smiled at how he still saw me as his best friend. "Alright, alright. I don't think you're gonna like what i'm about to say though" my smile dropped as i continued to explain. "The Zinthovas escaped..."

"WHAT?!? HOW COULD THAT HAVE HAPPENED?!" i stumbled a little bit; startled by his reaction. 

"Those stupid guards said that they just broke out and there was nothing they could've done to stop them." For those of you wondering, the Zinthovas are deadly people consisting of some of the strongest and merciless creatures in the universe. They are known for their vicious killings and incredible power. We, the people of Azverona, were finally able to captivate them a few years ago. 

"This is not good." Alakai said while pacing towards his computer tracker. He pulled up a holographic map of all the planets and began searching. After what seemed like forever, he was able to discover where the Zinthovas were headed. It seemed to be a very small planet consisting of weak creatures. It was a mostly bluish color and was surrounded by a white mist. If you looked closely, you could see the Zinthovas free flying towards the planet carrying some of our weapons and equipment. "Looks like they're headed to a planet named 'Earth'. I can tell these creatures will not be able to protect themselves considering how weak their bodies are built."

"So what are we going to do?"

"You're going to have to go after them. You'd have to adapt to these people's ways if you want to avoid getting attention. I'll let you bring the rest of the team with you so you won't have to face them alone." He explained.

I let out a big sigh and shook my head. "No. I'll go by myself. It's only a few of them..Won't be that hard to take them down." I lied. I knew what they were capable of doing. But i couldn't let the team go. They would just hold me back or end up getting killed. I can't let that happen. "When should i go?"
