Hearing voices

A single drop of tear,
No one must hear,
For your screams are forbidden,
And your pain must be hidden.
And as numb as he feels,
He slowly pulled into reality.

In his hollow mind he heard their voices echoing,
Soon replaced by an annoying beeping.
His eyes felt heavy and so did his body,
The place felt chilly and his clothes were itchy.

He heard their voices again,
But this time it was louder.
He tried to hear what they said,
But it soon began to cower.
