*ring ring* the phone on my dressing table rang
I really didn't feel like talking to anyone this morning not with how hazy my mind was from the activities I just did, I looked down at my roommate and saw that she had passed out in my arms her heart still beating so hard against her ribs *thump thump*
*ring ring* came the annoying noise from my cell phone, I turned as quietly as I could without waking her up to pick up the phone
"What!" I all but shouted to whoever was on the other end of the phone, careful not to wake up sleeping beauty
"Well hello there, and good morning to you too" the familiar voice came back at me
I removed the phone from my ear and looked at the contact name again, it was my very annoying elder sister
"April?"
"Yup the one and only" she chided back at me
"You know I hate taking calls in the morning what the hell is this about" I said, a bit irritated now
"Well I'm at the fuel station close to your street and it's too early to get a cab so could you help me with my things" she asked nicely, too nicely if you ask me
"Fuck you mean April? You live like on the other end of the country, what do you mean you're here! Are you drunk?" I asked her, a bit alarmed, what would she be doing here, we never made plans that she was coming "Robin"my sister chided me softly as she sighed
"Please don't tell me you forgot that I was coming over this month for the invitations" she said, I could practically see her roll her eyes at me.
"Noooo, hehehe I didn't forget" I laughed nervously as I scratched the back of my head
"What day is it again" I muttered quietly to myself trying to remember
"It's 15th you dumbo and this is October Incase you've also forgotten that" she all but reprimanded me
"Ah... I see, so it was this month after all" I laughed sheepishly
"But sis why you here so early though?" I asked her again, a bit curious
"I took the night bus Robin, now please come get me if you're done playing 20 questions" she said a bit irritated now
"Ok ok hold your horses I'm on my way, give me 5 minutes"I said as I hung up
I jumped out bed as I tried to dress up, I guess my movement around the room must have woken Sarah up because she was looking at me "Baby where are you going to come back to bed" she said softly in her baby voice
My heart started beating like crazy when I heard the endearment she used to call me
"If you must know, my sister is on her way here and I'm headed to pick her up, and if you'll be so kind please clear up the room and open the windows, I don't want her asking questions I can't answer" I said offhandedly as I turned to head for the door. I stopped short of turning the handle as I looked back at her "Oh and Sarah?" I called out to her
"Yes" she turned her head towards me
"Don't ever call me baby again" I said as I walked out the door
I heard a soft "okay" from her as I shut the door close.
