Chapter 9(Robins Pov)

I've been avoiding the little she devil ever since the last time she came to me, it's been over 2 weeks now. I spent another 4 days at my place because my sis decided to extend her stay and after that I made some excuse to stay over at a friends place. The fact that she got to me so much not just physically but emotionally too was quite scary, scary enough to make me run from her.

Unfortunately I was on my way back to our apartment, we were to leave together for my sisters wedding and I didn't want to raise eyebrows if we went separately so I offered to tag along side her. She unnerved me the more I got to know her, she was so coy, never making a scene but always leaving me speechless even when I was mean to her, never asking for what I couldn't give.

I thought by now she would be like other girls, vying for my attention or pushing her feelings towards me but the opposite was the case. She carried on like she didn't have a care in the world, I often hear her pray at night or early in the morning then go about her day wearing God knows what, testing my endurance.

I should be the one praying at this point, praying that God saves me from her. There was no way being this beautiful and smart was legal, exactly what I always thought my dream girl would be, and that is why it scared me so much. I began to stop seeing her as just another fuck and now my emotions were all over the place.

"Hello... April?" I spoke to my phone

"So I need a pink themed par... hey baby girl" she answered a bit too distracted

"I just got to the airport with Sarah, who's picking us up?" I asked tiredly

"Pick you whaa... hahahahahaha, please find your way to the location I sent to your phone ok? Bye love you" she rushed out

"April! April!" I hollered to the phone

Of course it was just like my sister to be unprepared, I wasn't very familiar with this city so I probably had to take a cab

"Come on let's go" I called to Sarah as I began to make my way outside the airport

"Is your sister picking us up?" She inquired softly

"No, the big head said we should take a cab" I muttered irritated

"Oh okay" was her reply as she tagged along

"So you guys will stay in the guest house just opposite where I am, so it's easy to move between us, and you guys have to share a room, we are short on accommodations" April kept blabbering off our ears when all we really wanted to do was rest

"The bridal shower would be later in the evening around 7pm so please come Robin, I know it's not your kind of scene but please just be there for me okay?" She begged with her puppy eyes and an adorable pout.

I rolled my eyes at her " alright alright...I'll be there now stop clutching my arm" I said as I tried to get her off

"Really... thank you so much" she gave me a kiss on the check as she ran off to attend to something somewhere

The moment I got to the room I crashed into the bed and dozed off

"Robin Robin" I heard some one distantly call me as I was shaken awake

"What" I let out groggily still very much tired

"It's 5:40pm already, the party would start by 7:00pm, we should get ready" Sarah said

"Oh okay, you can take your shower first I'll get in after you" I said as I opened one eye to give her a look over from where I was laid
