"Billie?" i heard james ask. "james?" i replied. i knew it'd be him though. he walked in slowly. his eyes were red and puffy from crying and  his nose was a bright red.
"what are you doing here, james?" then i realized. james' mom had killed herself about 11 years ago. she drowned herself in front of him. i was wet and i left a note saying to look after james. he thought i was going to.. fuck.. "w-why are you w-w-wet.." he asked while quivering. "i went for a swim... i feel better now.." i replied. "yo-you left a note. you l-left a note s-saying to l-l-look after me... i-i-i thought you were gonna do something b-bad." he said with tears streaming down his face. "i-i wasn't gonna do that james.. i'm sorry i scared you.." he came up close to me and gave me a hug. i had realized that i'm the only other person in his life he could go to right now and i thought i'd be gone.
