How they met
*officially*
*they're 13 *before ocean eyes**
There james was. Contently trying to ride his bike to the soda shop. The wind blowing through his shorter curly hair because his mother had the audacity to make him get a haircut, the air was crisp and clear. It was relatively warm with a chill breeze every now and then.
Just as he parked his bike
he saw someone. A girl. walking into the store.
He didn't think much of it because he'd seen her and her brother around town. Whatever. She's pretty though..
He thought to himself as he walked in. He hated ordering stuff
The guy was really nice but his stutter was always actin' a fool when he wanted something.
5 minutes later
He wanted coke but he was bouta choke
He took a deep breath before asking "c-ca-can i-iii-i-i" Jesus christ kill me now
The girl behind him got closer to him and whispered in his ear "just take your time dude"
Her voice was soft and had a very distinctive accent to it. James blushed a soft pink and took a deep breath. "C-can i-i have a coke, p-please.." he said looking down, handing the guy the money. "Sure, bud" (that's what my sister calls me)
James smiled softly at the girl, his cheeks turning a slightly pink. She smiled back.
James got his coke and started walking out. But as he reached the door he felt a small hand grab his wrist.
"H-hey dude, i uh, never got your name.. i'm billie.. by the way" "I'm james" there was a silence as they looked into eachothers eyes. Her mesmerizing ocean eyes
His facinating different colored eyes
James laughed, "cute name for a cute girl" he didn't exactly know where this newly found confidence from but it made billie blush and giggle softly.
"I'll be right back... s-stay right here." James quickly left through the doors and brought his bike to the front of the store where billie was waiting.
"Hop on, bil" she got on the pegs and slowly wrapped her arms around his waist, putting her head on his shoulders. "Where are we going?" Billie asked softly. "This place i found the other d-day and i think you'll like it" "Mmkay"
James rode them all the way to a willow tree on a hill. They got off and sat underneath it. James started picking flowers from the ground and fiddiling with them as his back was turned to billie. After about 3 minutes of billie softly humming and james fiddling with flowers, james said "ta-da!" He faced billie with a flower crown in his hands. Billie started laughing "how'd you do that so fast?" She wondered out loud
"Practice makes perfect, bil." He smiled brightly putting it on the top of her head.
"Thank you" billie smiled giving him a hug. He gladly accepted.
Billie laid down on his lap and started playing with his hair. "you're really beautiful" he said accidentally out loud. Billie's breath hitched. Billie lifted herself from his lap and started straddling him while giving him a sweet hug.
"Oh shit... uh the sun is starting to set" billie pouted, looking behind her. "I should probably go home"
"N-Need a ride?" James asked Billie nodded sheepishly as they walked down the hill to james' bike. Their hands brushed together. james hessitated but slowly intertwined their fingers. Billie looked down at their hands and up to james. He was looking at her the whole time
James hopped on and billie followed shortly after. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and snuggled closer to him, Making James blush hard. billie told him which way her house was by whispering in his ear the directions.
Once they got there, billie hopped off after james stopped. James got off after her. They just looked at each other. It was as if they both were telepathically saying i don't wanna go
James hugged her tightly, billie hugged back tighter, hiding her face in the crook of his neck.
As billie walked to her front door james exclaimed, "billie, wait!"
She looked back to james grabbing her wrist and swiftly pulling her into a kiss.
The kiss was soft and sweet, they wished it could've lasted forever. Billie's hands snaked their way around james waist, and up his back to his neck. She started playing with his hair again, stringing it between her fingers. James' hands were cupping billie's jaw softly with his his thumb and index finger holding her head up.
When they pulled away, james and billie's faces were a bright pink and they looked down. After a while billie started laughing. James let out soft chuckles. with a smile on her face, billie grabbed the back of james' head and pulled him down into another kiss. They couldn't stop giggling in between kisses. Billie ran her fingers through his curls and started walking backwards away from him with a smile on her face.
"Later" billie winked. Going into her house as james got on his bike and said, "bye, bil." He smirked and biked away.
Billie laughed all the way to her bed as she blushed brightly.
