"Wh-where am i?" James stuttered as he squinted his eyes due to the white shining light in his eyes
"Where am i?" He said louder tugging at his restraints.

Billie, Maggie, patrick, finneas, and claudia were all there looking at him with sympathy in their eyes.
He started yelling. "Where am i?! Why am i tied up?! Why am i tied up?!!"

Billie kneeled down and looked at james with tears in her eyes.
"J-james... do you know who i am?" She said softly, her voice quivering. James furrowed his eyebrows and his eyes darted between billie's while breathing heavily. It looked like he was analyzing her face to remember. "Y-y-you're..."
Finneas furrowed his eyebrows as he watched. "You're b-billie. You're my girlfriend b-billie.."

"He's a spy!" Finneas stated
"If he knows where we are, so will the shadow monster!"

"He's lying! He's lying! Let me go! He's lying!" James screeched

"He killed those soldiers, he'll kill us too!" Finneas told everyone else

Claudia added, "we need to put him to sleep somehow!"

"NO LET ME GO! LET ME GO!" james screeched out as finneas stuck a needle in his arm. "No... lemme go...lemme g...." his voice faded out as he went to sleep. Billie was pacing around the room covering her ears
She took james' limp hand in hers. "I'm sorry.." she said quietly and kissed his cheek.

6 hours later

James woke up to see everyone looking at him. Billie was rocking back and forth with red tear stained cheeks and swollen lips.

His head was pounding and there was a voice in the back of his head saying "billie needs you right now..." but an overpowering demonic voice that was much louder making the other voice almost silent.

He jolted up seeing he was restrained. He couldn't remember anything prior. There were fans blowing softly shooting out rays of heat.
"W-what is this.." he asked
"i-it-it burns... it hurts" he whimpered.

"Billie." Patrick said  "back up."

He turned the fans to the highest level making james yell and squirm. "It hurts! Ah! Let me go!" He yelled. "LET ME GO! LET ME GO!" He looked billie in the eyes. "BILLIE LET ME GO! AHH! STOP! LET ME GO!" he was in hysterics as his voice distorted into a booming, horrific, deep, monster sounding, growl. Billie sobbed into the crook of maggie's neck, "i-it's not working!"

"Billie! His neck!" Claudia said. Billie looked and saw that the veins in his neck were turning jet black, crawling to his face. Billie stopped crying and went over to james who was still screeching his lungs out. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HIM YOU PEICE OF SHIT" she yelled at the entity possesing james. James' arm shot up and started choking billie. Usually she'd be into it but not under these circumstamces. Billie could barely breath and her eyes started to close when suddenly, he let go with a horrifying wail that boomed in everyones ears. They looked and saw that claudia had taken a hot rod from the fireplace and stabbed james in the abdomen with it.

Billie scrambled back as a black tornado of evil shot out from james' mouth as he screamed as loud as he possibly could. It swirled around until it shot out and broke down the door to the cabin they were hiding out in. Finneas ran outside to see where it had gone but saw nothing.

Everyone gathered around james who's hair was slicked out of his face for once, he was as pale as the bed sheets he was laying on, which were white, his cheeks were more defined than usual and his eyes were sunken in. He looked frail and in pain.
"James... j-james, baby wake up" billie begged, tears running down her face. He started to stir making everyone let out a sigh if relif. His eyes fluttered open. "B-billie?" He rasped out.

He caressed the side of her face wiping away her tears. "Don't cry." He said softly
With a small smile.

Billie gave a soft smile and hugged him tightly peppering his face with kisses.

Everyone gave him a hug and let him rest for the rest of the day before taking him to the hospital
