I walk out into the streets of California (again I know he doesn't live in Cali but he also lives in a place that doesn't exist. Gone. Forgotten. Oregon doESNT E-) hearing the soft play of a guitar and the sound of an angelic voice.
"I found a love for me
Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me"
The body that was housing the angelic voice looked over at me, smiling. As he smiled the corner of his eyes crinkled up cutely.
"'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Not knowing what it was
I will not give you up this time
But darling, just kiss me slow
Your heart is all I own
And in your eyes you're holding mine"
He swayed his body as he was singing. He smiled brightly at the people gathered around him. I smile at how happy this person looks.
"Baby, I'm dancing in the dark
With you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass
Listening to our favourite song
When you said you looked a mess
I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it,
Darling, you look perfect tonight"
He goes through the crowd that he's formed around himself and grabs people's hands, singing to them.
"Well, I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know
She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home
I found a love to carry more than just my secrets

He winks at all the girls in the main crowd. I was standing in the back, as I didn't want to be crowded by all the screaming girls at the street performer.
"We are still kids but we're so in love
Fighting against all odds
I know we'll be alright this time

I see my future in your eyes
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark

When I saw you in that dress

He pushes through the big crowd over to where I'm standing and grabs my hand, placing a small note in it. I'll open it when he's done singing.
"No, no, no
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark
With you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass

I have faith in what I see
Now I know I have met an angel in person
And she looks perfect
I don't deserve this
You look perfect tonight"
He finishes singing and bows in front of the crowd. The crowd cheers for him, people in the apartments near the street open their window and look down at him.
I open up the small note and start reading it,
"Darling you look perfect tonight..,
