Blinking a few times, I adjusted my eyes to the sunlight. Apparently, I didn't even take a shower as I looked down at my wrinkled work clothes. So, I got up to go shower and put on some fresh clothes.

Adrianna's POV
Waking up to the wonderful smell of waffles and eggs. I got up to go the bathroom and perform my morning rituals. Almost ten minutes later, I went down stairs with my parents. My mom was finishing up the eggs with her kiss the cook apron on. My dad was sitting down reading the newspaper and munching on his food. Taking a seat across from my dad, I grabbed a couple waffles and drown them in syrup. My mom placed a handful of eggs on my plate. The breakfast was awesome, I may never move out if my mom continues to cook like this. "Mom, do you mind if I go out this evening?" I held my breath waiting for her to respond. "Where are you going and who are you gonna be with?" She questioned. Exhaling, "Well, I met a guy at school and he's new here and he asked to hang out with me today if it's OK? I asked. " That should be fine just keep your phone on you, and be home by twelve, no later," she gave me a pointed look. "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Mom!!" I said leaping up to kiss and hug my mom.

Back in my room I begin looking through my closet, what am I going to wear," I thought out loud. In the farthest part of my closet, I found a yellow sun dress that's snug at the top and loose at the bottom. The dress is complete with a black belt around the waist.

There was a knock at the door, and before I could open it my mom walked in. Putting her hands up to her mouth in awe, "Awww honey, that's beautiful," she smiled. My mom came over and sat on the bed. "Sweetheart, now you know if there's gonna be sex to always wrap it up," she plainly stated not beating around the bush. "Mom!" "I don't even know much about him, we're just gonna hang out," Adrianna assured her mom.

An hour later, I was dressed and ready to go. Checking off my essentials list: Purse, check. Phone, check. Lip gloss, check. I have all I need plus extra, if you know what I mean. Running down the stairs, my mom gave me a kiss and gave me the keys. "Be careful, love bug". " I know I know, buckle up and no texting," I shouted before shutting the door.

Christian's POV

When my shower was done, I looked in the corner for something to wear. I came across some dark jeans and a blue polo shirt. Pulling my clothes on, I heard my phone vibrating on the floor. Stumbling over my scattered shoes, I answered my phone. "H-Hello," I said trying to keep my balance. I recognized Adrianna's voice almost immediately. *Phone conversation *

Adrianna: Hey Christian, I forgot to ask you your a-address?

Christian: Do you know where the greens point apartments are located?

Adrianna:Yes, my cousin lives in those apartments, I'll be there in fifteen to twenty minutes.

* Conversation Over *

Brushing my waves, I headed out the door. I called Adrianna to tell her my code, in order for the gate to open. Standing out front, I saw a red Toyota Camry pull into a parking space beside me. When Adrianna stepped out of the car, I had to do a double take. Adrianna looked flawless, I took a deep breath since I started getting excited. "Hey, you look amazing," I said lookin into her eyes. "Th-Thank you," she said blushing and looking down. Grabbing her chin, I tilted her chin up. "Don't look down, your too pretty for that. Keep your head, like your nose bleeding." "OK, can we go inside?"

We walked inside, and I saw Adrianna's whole demeanor change. "Where's your bed? You don't have a chair? What do you eat?" Adrianna inquired. "I've been getting by just fine, alright."

She took a seat on the floor, patting the floor beside her for me to sit next to her. "So, tell me about you," she said without stuttering. "What do you wanna know?" "Everything," she simply stated. "OK," I chuckled. "I was an only child, born and raised in Louisiana. At first, it was my grandma, mom, and dad. We used to be one big family , until my grandma died battling cancer. My mom became very distraught, and start selling her body for drugs. When my dad found out, he beat her within an inch of her life. I saw the whole thing through my slightly opened door. There was nothing I could do to help, so I called the police and explained everything. That was four years ago, I moved when my mom tried to sell me for a quick fix," I said with a single tear rolling down my cheek. Adrianna wiped the tear, and looked into my watery eyes. At that moment, we shared a long passionate kiss filled with so many emotions.
