Heatos walked besides Adia as they journeyed through Hades. It was cold and dark but Heatos wanted to show her something.
"You really aren't afriad to be down here? That you will be trapped forever?" Even though Aida could not see Heatos clearly she could hear the wicked smile on his face.
"Should I be? Are you trying to get me to join your father's people? Do you not remember I could always leave?" Aida rolled her eyes at Heatos the son of Hades. He was just as cunning as his father.
"How could I possibly forget?" Heatos and Aida reach a opening and it was full of light. Cold air wrapped around him. Despite everyone thinking that Hades was hot, it was actually cold. Even for the gods.
"You're so full of yourself Heatos." Aida laughed. "I can not believe that women actually fall for your ways. It's ridiculous."
"Awh you see Athena must love me because she keeps tossing virgins my way." He winked at Aida.
"You truly are disgusting." Aida shook her head at Heatos. They were not related but Aida had lived with Hades and Heatos for many years. As long as she could remember. As long as either of them could remember.
"Even you Aida are not immune completely to my charm." Heatos glanced at Aida out of the corner of his eye. The whole opening shook.
"Looks like someone came to visit." Aida looked around the opening. People did not come to visit Hades often but the pair ignored it and continued on their little adventure.
"What is it that you're going to show me?" Aida asked Heatos curiously. The fact was Heatos wanted to show Aida something special to impress her. Heatos was fond of Aida.
"You will see soon enough. Do you know what your name means?" Heatos asked Aida.
"No I suppose it has something to do with a skill I possess. Although I seem to not have any." Aida hated conversations like this. She was obviously a daughter of the gods but she had no skill to show for it. While Heatos had many. They walked through the open room and down another dark hallway. Heatos held a ball of fire in his hand lighting their path.
"It means helper." Heatos informed her. Aida looked at him but wasn't surprised. "And you have plenty of wonderful skills."
"Like what. What is possibly that great with me?" Aida paused looking at Heatos.
"Well you're beautiful." Aida rolled her eyes.
"Beauty is not a skill. And that's funny really funny by the way. I don't take kindly to decite Heatos." Aida sighed and they continued walking. Heatos jogged in front of her walking backwards.
"You are beautiful. Even more beautiful than Aphrodite. You're emerald green eyes, brownish black hair. Killer body." Heatos smiled.
"Don't let Aphrodite hear you. He was just kidding Aphrodite, he is only trying to get me into bed with him. And it is not working." Aida looked at Heatos. He pouted.
"It's not working?" Heatos sounded defeated but Aida knew he was not.
"Not even the slightest. I see right through your game." Aida pushed past Heatos.
"Hey I'm the one that knows where we are going." Heatos walked side by side with Aida.
"You're taking me to the spring." Aida glanced at him sideways. Heatos tried to hide his shock that she figured out but he knew better than to be surprised. You could not surprise Aida. "Oh and by the way my eyes are gray they're not hazel."
"But they change colors." Heatos countered. "And how do you know we are going to the spring?"
"Because I've heard you talk about it and that is probably the one thing I have yet to see here."Aida smiled. The pair continued on to the spring. The spring is forgotten by most and unknown by many. It was a clear blue and it was warm. The water ran deep, sand grazing the bottom. No animals, plants, or rocks were inside. Only the sand that Aida and Heatos were standing in now.
