Divergent: The Flip Side

Chapter 1

A/N: These are all Veronica Roth's characters, not mine! The ideas are mine though... Mostly!
So what happens if there were no wars, no initiations, and no deaths... Yet? Just a free choice between factions and of course, high school!
Tris, Christina and Shauna are the 'mean girls', easily lead by Eric and Peter. But when Tris and Four unavoidably clash, will they fall in love???

Tris POV:
Ugh I go back to school today, summer has been amazing and now I return to this. I spent my whole holiday hanging out with the gang, and can't believe it has ended for another year!

It's senior year and I am one of the most popular girls in the school, along with Christina and Shauna. So basically, we rule this year! Well, we do what Eric and Peter tell us to do, not that we mind, it's fun!

I do my make-up, put on my shortest shorts and a black crop top, showing off my abs- which are better than the guys, might I just add! Then, I drive to school blaring music, picking up the girls on the way. We need to make a big appearance on the first day.

As we roll up to school Christina shouts, "shades on, smiles off... We've got a reputation to keep!" Shauna and I abide, sneaking a grin and wink when Christina isn't looking!

When we arrive, we strut over to the boys, who are leaning against Eric's Ferrari laughing.

"Looking hot today ladies!" Shouts Peter.

"Naturally" Shauna replies winking, she receives a giggle of appreciation from Christina and I.

"So, what was all of the laughing about before we came?" I ask.

Eric replies, "Well, the legend, Peter, was just sharing with me his epic plans for our first week of pranks!"

"So he has considered our first month of detentions then?" I sarcastically reply.

"Woah, no need to be a party pooper tris!" Peter exclaims, pretending to look hurt.

"So what are your ideas anyway?" Shauna asks, looking bored.

"Well that's for us to know and you to find out!" Eric teases.

"Come on, you are going to tell us anyway, so-" Christina is cut off by the bell ringing and sighs.

"We'll it looks like we have truly been saved by the bell, come on Eric, lets get out of here before the girls attack us!" Peter says smirking.

I shout after them, "You better tell us at lunch then!" While shaking my head, that's Peter and Eric for you!

Christina and Shauna both have the same timetable as me, yay! So we walk to first lesson together - English. We walk deliberately slowly, so as to arrive fashionably late, but when we arrive, That decision is deeply regretted. Our teacher is Mr Eaten aka the devil, he hates us! And, to make matters worse, there aren't any three seats near each other left!

Christina and Shauna barge towards the last pair of desks together, while I maintain my dignity. So, I am stuck on the other side of the classroom, next to the quietest kid in the class - Four. Behind me are his two idiots of friends - Uriah and Zeke, who are coincidentally brothers. Gosh, the stupidity must run through the family! In front of me are a pair of swots - a boy called Will and... Oh no, could this day get any worse? My brother Caleb sits there! Why is he in this class? The teachers must really hate me, oh wait, they already do!

The whole lesson is extremely awkward, Four hates me because of previous pranks throughout my school years. While I'm working, I feel as though he is staring at me, ah well, what do I care, It's not like he has anything to say.

We make sure that we get to second and third lessons on time - math and drama, so that we can choose where we sit. We don't do much in drama though, we will start our group work tomorrow and the teacher is choosing the groups, well that's just great for me considering I will probably end up with the weirdos from English again!
By lunch we are all anxious to find out what the pranks will be. After spotting the boys sat at a table, we storm over to them to find out these 'legendary' pranks!
