Divergent: The Flip Side

Chapter 13

Tris POV:

I wake up to my alarm going off and groan. It's Monday already and as if Monday wasn't bad enough, I've got a detention today too! At least I'm with my friends though.

After getting ready, I run out of my house to my car, and sure enough Tobias is stood there watching me through his window. I wink up at him, then gesture for him to come to school with me.

Seconds later, he is jogging over to greet me. I lean up to give him a quick kiss before jumping into my car with Tobias riding shotgun.

As we drive to pick up Christina, he reaches his hand on top of mine, sending sparks through my body.

When Christina gets in she says, "Two things: 1 - He's in my seat, and 2 - When did this happen?" she gestures to the two of us while climbing into the back.

"After Peters" I reply

Christina squeals and exclaims, "I knew it!"

Tobias just shakes his head and mutters, "girls" while rolling his eyes.

We all laugh and continue chatting all of the way to school, picking up Shauna on the way.

When we arrive at school, Marlene, Uriah, Will and Zeke are stood in a group chatting. We walk over to our friends, creating a big circle. Christina jumps into Will's arms, surprising him, but he instantly kisses her. We all groan and exclude them from our circle.

Tobias casually wraps his arm around me, sending tingles through my body. I grin up at him and barely notice when the bell goes. We walk together to Geography, which we are coincidently in the same lesson for.

While we are waiting to be let in to the classroom, Uriah comes running over to us and says, "Four..." dragging it out in an obvious 'I want something' way.

"What do you want?" Four asks.

"Can I sit next to you because Will is sitting with Christina and Zeke is with Shauna?" He complains

I reply before Tobias even has a chance to, "He's sitting with me, sorry"

Tobias winks at me and Uriah whines, "But now I'm all on my own!" He puts on a sad face.

Surprisingly, Marlene replies, "You can sit next to me"

His eyes light up and he runs over to Marlene to hug her, shouting, "Yay! Thank you Marlene, you're the best!"

Four wraps his arms back around me laughing and I lean into his chest. I'm bored of waiting now, why can't the teacher hurry up and unlock this room for us?

As if on cue, the teacher arrives and lets us in. We manage to get the far back corner of desks for our little group. The teacher has forgotten our books and has left to retrieve them.

I pop myself up on the desk in front of Tobias and we start kissing. Uriah wolf whistles at us, so we pull away. Out of the corner of my eye I see Eric staring at us. I whisper in Fours ear telling him this, before straddling him in his chair and resuming our kissing session.

Eric gets up to storm out of the classroom, but as he reaches the door, the teacher smashes it open in his face, causing her to drop all of her books. Eric looks around at the class who are all giggling, before running out, clutching his face.

I give Tobias an evil smirk, before giving him one last quick kiss.

The teacher exclaims, "Okay break it up now please you two, this is geography not sex ed!"

We all burst out laughing and I return to my seat blushing. Tobias places his hand on my leg smirking, so place my hand on top of his, playing with his fingers.
