Divergent: The Flip Side

Chapter 8

Four POV:

Tris gets up to sit on her crushes knee, I hope that it is me, but she walks straight past me as she walks around the group. Why do I even think that she is interested in me? As she walks past Eric I see him get ready to let her sit, and almost burst out laughing when she walks straight past him!

She is back to her space now and we are all waiting for her to pick someone to sit on. She pause for a moment then, unexpectedly, plonks herself down on my lap! My heart races with the close contact between us!

Tris POV:

I look around and everyone is staring at me.

"What?" I ask, they all just shake their heads or look at the floor.

It's my turn to dare someone, so I dare Will to let Christina do his make up! He reluctantly agrees and Christina immediately gets to work!

Shauna chooses truth, so Will asks her, "What is the biggest lie you have ever told anyone?"

Panicked, she looks over at Christina - she can tell if someone's is telling the truth and will call Shauna out if she lies about this. Shauna looks to her right and says, "I forfeit!"

Zekes eyes go wide, and he wastes no time in going in for the kiss! I clear my throat to get them to pull apart, gosh there must be something about tonight and kissing!

They both look flushed after, and Shauna mumbles ok Four, your turn!

Instantly he replies, "Dare!" Obviously, he can't do two truths in a row otherwise he will look like an absolute wuss!

She replies, "I dare you and Tris to go upstairs together for 10 minutes"

"And do what?" Four asks

"Anything you like!" Shauna replies

"He can't do that!" Eric shouts in a panicked voice. Everyone stares at him.

"Why not?" Peter asks.

"Because it's too similar to 7 minutes in heaven!" Eric replies

"Just go" Peter tells us, "I'll sort Eric out.

Eric watches me following Four out of the room intently. Maybe he had a crush on me all these years!?!

We walk upstairs and in to the first bedroom we see, I close the door behind me and Four looks at me with his deep blue eyes. I have never noticed how beautiful they are! He looks nervous, and takes a small step towards me but stops himself. My heart is racing, so I make the first move and lean my face in to his!

Our lips clash against each other and I feel so much passion building up between us. I wrap my arms around his neck pulling us closer and he wraps his around my waist. I have never felt so alive!

I stand on my tip toes, trying to reach his height, but he lifts me up instead. I wrap my legs around him. I have never noticed how strong he is, but now I can feel his huge biceps tensed around me! Eventually, he breaks the kiss and we lean our foreheads together, catching our breath back. He truly took my breath away!

He mutters to me, "Tris Prior, will you be my girlfriend?" I nod ecstatically and we resume our kissing!

A while later, I can hear footsteps coming up the stairs, but I don't care, I just keep kissing him, letting the electricity between us build up! I think I have found my soul mate, my one true love!
