Divergent: The Flip Side

Chapter 6

Tris POV:

We are meeting up at the mall, thanks to Christina! Oh how the boys are going to love us... although, they probably do already - this is the most female attention that they have ever got! I don't know why though because, even if he seems quiet, which he is not, Four is really hot! Wait what?!? I mean, no he's not... but his biceps are huge! Stop Tris, you must be ill to be thinking like that! He's not even in the same popularity group as me, there is no chance! But he could be, I could make him popular... I need some fresh air, I'm not thinking straight!

Once I am outside, I feel a little better. I hop into my car and drive down to the mall to meet the others. When I arrive, it is just me and Four stood there.

(A/N: Bold = Four, normal =Tris, just for this bit!)

"Hey!"

"Umm hi, you look nice today"

"Ah thank you! You too!" I feel my heart fluttering, stop it Tris!

"Erm are you ok?"

"Yeah why?"

"You just said stop it Tris, to yourself?"

"Oh, I didn't realise I said that out loud!" Damn it Tris!

"And again"

He laughs, so I join in, pretending it was on purpose and at that precise moment, Uriah and Zeke come over to join us.

"Well you two seem to be getting on well there" Uriah hints while Zeke waggles his eyebrows.

"Best get you a room Four my boy!" Zeke adds, while Uriah bursts out laughing.

"Your kidding me right?" Uriah laughs, "Its one thing him flirting with her, even though he has got no chance whatsoever, but getting a room? Bro, you're bonkers!" They both start peeing themselves laughing, while Four playfully attacks both of them!

I just stand there kind of awkwardly until Christina, Shauna and Will turn up together.

"Why is Will with you?" I ask

Shauna let's out a girlie squeal, then says "She will tell you!"

I turn to Christina instantly, "spill!" I demand.

She replies hesitantly, "Well, you know how I said the other day that I had begun seeing someone over the summer, that someone is Will!"

Gobsmacked, I squeal then ask, "And you didn't tell us this earlier because?"

"Peter and Eric would never have let it go, after all, we all know Peter has that crush on me!" She flicks her hair and pouts.

"I suppose so..." I reply laughing, then squeal, in my best Christina impression, "OMG you two are adorable together!" The boys all sigh and roll their eyes and Christina just glares at me..

"Come on, can't we get going already?!?" Uriah whines.

"We're waiting for Lynn and Marlene" I answer in a mock of his voice.

He glares at me, then Shauna says, "Oh yeah, I forgot, Lynn isn't coming, but Marlene is!"

Right on queue, Marlene walks up behind Shauna and scares her! Shauna shrieks and we all burst out laughing!

"Well I'm here now guys, so what are we waiting for?" Marlene exclaims.

Zeke shouts, "Yeah let's go!" and we all cheer in response, before strolling into the mall.

After about an hour of shopping, the boys are bored out of their minds!

"Can we do something fun now?" Uriah whines

"Please, save us from this!" Will adds

"Pretty, pretty please!" Zeke says in a girlie voice, while batting his eyelids!

"Oh okay then!" Christine exclaims in defeat.

The boys all cheer and whoop at that decision!

Even though we have only been hanging out with these guys for a day, I already feel closer to them than I ever did to Peter and Eric. These guys are also so much more fun to be around!

As we are all walking to the exit, I spot Eric, Peter and Lauren, lurking in a corner. Peter catches my eye, but I pretend not to have noticed! Seconds later, they come strolling over to us. Eric has his arm around Lauren's waist, I guess she was telling the truth when she said they were dating!

"Fancy seeing you here!" Peter says sarcastically.

"And who are your new friends?" Eric asks in a mocking tone, "The mute, the swot and the clowns?" They burst out laughing.

"Have fun with your new 'friends'" Peter teases as they begin to walk away.

To my surprise, Four replies, "Well at least we have been better friends to these girls than you ever have or will be!"

Lauren gasps, "He speaks!"

"Yeah, you got a problem" Four sassily answers

Peter replies, "No, but you have! One day with these girls and you have already been friend zoned!"

"What like you and Christina?" I ask, causing everyone to burst out laughing!

Peter glares at Eric, who replies, "What? it's true!" Peter huffs

Will is next to add to the teasing of Peter, "And mate, I'm not exactly friend zoned, I'm dating Christina, which is one step above what you had with her!" Peter goes bright red, causing us all to laugh even more!

Angrily, he replies, "Well if you feel like you are so much above me, why don't we all go back to mine for a few, lets say, games, with some twists!" For this he gains a few oohs!

"Bring it" Will replies, earning a kiss from Christina, which causes Peter to turn even redder!

Peter begins to storm out, then turns round and shouts back to us, "Well don't just stand there!"

We begin walking out and Uriah mutters, "Well this should be interesting!"

"Too right bro!" Zeke replies.
