"Are you good?" Jake asked. I looked up at him surprised. Then I glared at him.

"If you've come up here to make fun of me you can leave now. I think I know my mistakes." I said and walked to my bathroom. I looked into the mirror and winced. I looked a mess.

"Actually I figured you'd had enough for one day. I wanted to talk to you though." He came in and sat in my chair by my desk.

"About?" I said inching toward the door that leads to the music room.

"About how everyone makes mistakes." I scoffed.

"You think I've never had this talk before?" I shook my head and grabbed the knob of the door ready to open it.

"I know you've heard other talks, but you've never had my talk." He said and I waited patiently for him to continue.

"We all make mistakes right? Well some people just don't understand other people's pain. Now I'm not going to force you to tell me what really happened but I want you to know that I'll be ready whenever you want to talk." He looked serious and I couldn't believe it.

"What if I went to Jess before you?" I asked.

"Then that's your decision." He shrugged and my eyes widened.

"Why are you being nice all of a sudden?" I asked glaring.

"I realized that Jay really likes you and it's obvious that you really like him too. I know how it feels to be in love with someone whose best friend couldn't stand you." He said and I nodded.

"We're not in love." I said and he smirked.

"Yet." He walked out with that and I rolled my eyes then went down to the music room and got my guitar. I played some notes and recorded it.

Then I went to the piano and recorded some more notes. I did the same with the violin and drums. After I did all that, I played it all together and started singing in the microphone.

When I was at my mansion I used to do this all the time whenever something happened which was often.

"We're going to the mall if you wanna come." Jess popped in my room and I nodded. I had just got done washing my hair. He came towards me and touched my hair.

"I like your hair wet." I blushed and pushed him. Of course he didn't budge.

"Ro, I'm sorry about yesterday." He said and I shrugged.

"Wasn't your fault." He shook his head and hugged me. I stiffened and he whispered in my ear.

"Loosen up." I relaxed and hugged him back. Then the tears fell.

"Jess. I promise it wasn't my fault. I was just doing what I felt was right. You got to believe me. Please Jess, please."

"Ro I'll always believe you. Just tell me what happened." He said leading me to my bed.

"It was freshman year." I started. My phone started ringing and I picked it up and answered it without looking at caller ID

"Hello?"

"Ro." My skin turned cold hearing his voice.

"What do you want Chris?"
