I didn't know what to do, Rorschach has been in prison for so long. It's the week of Halloween. I managed to adapt to my blindness. I take my blindfold off everyday to wash it. To keep my wounds from getting affected. I was stumped. That's when I made the decision, it was risky. I was going to break Rorschach out of prison.
I found my uniform, and with as much patience I had, I put my uniform in. Tighten my new mask, aka the blindfold, and armed myself with every arrow and with my improved bow. I climbed out the window and slide down the ladder. I found Nottingham and saddled him up. Thankfully, from muscle memory.
Never thought I say this again, "Sing Sing." I whispered in Nottingham's ear. He took off with a sprint.
It wasn't long before we were at the gates. I took my grappling arrow and aimed up at the wall. I managed to estimate the height thanks to sound of criminals pounding the walls on each floor.
I managed to make my way up the building. I could hear voices, "Who the hell are you!?" I could hear their footsteps coming closer. I took my bow swung hard hitting whoever it was out cold.
"Er... I mean Robin Hood what are you doing here?" I turned to hear the familiar voice.
"Same as you..." I faced the direction voice came from, "Laurie?"
"It's Silk Spectre." I could hear the annoyance in her tone.
"Robin Hood...." another voice broke through the crowd.
"Dan?" I mouthed.
"Nite-Owl." He corrected.
"Tell me why you're here then." I asked confused.
"Here to bust Rorschach out." Silk Spectre explained.
"No, that's what I'm suppose to do." I frowned.
"Robin Hood, you're... not in the condition to..." I cut Nite-Owl off.
"I made it this far, plus if one of you were to tell me this was a fucking plan, I could've helped." I crossed my arms.
"Well you'll need a smaller weapon than that." Silk Spectre said with a little disgust.
I folded my bow and shook my wrist. My cross bow came undone.
"Remember this." I pointed and started walking forward.
"Erin... that day at the hospital.. I thought you.." Nite-Owl sighed
"Well I'm not. Look, we have a job to do." I lifted my leg and kicked the door open. How did I know a door was there? I didn't.
The moment we entered chaos was everywhere. A felt an arm wrap around my neck and I immediately started fighting it off.
"Stay close..." I didn't listen to Dan and just started running.
"Robin Hood!" Called Silk Spectre
I made turns and and had my hand on the wall letting it guide me. I could sense Rorschach was here. That's when I felt it... I felt blood. The thick wet liquid ran on the walls til I reached a door.
I could hear voices. One begging for mercy the other, Rorschach's. I entered the room.
"Robin Hood..?" The voice was a bit confusing.
"Rorschach." I walked up to him, I felt his mask was over his face. I rolled it over his nose and kissed his lips, "We need to go."
"Hurm." Rorschach seemed to agree and grabbed my wrist.
We started running, I was stumbling and tripping over everything.
"Rorschach!" We heard Dan calling towards us.
"Silk Spectre, Nite-Owl. Excuse me must use men's restroom." Rorschach said
"Are you..." I could hear Laurie's pissed tone.
"More is going on." I thought.
After a few moments Rorschach emerged.
"We'll be able to loose the cops if we split up." Nite-Owl explained.
Rorschach took my hand, "Robin Hood, I'll go with her, protect her."
"Uh." I didn't have a say in it.
"We meet at the docks." Nite-Owl ordered
