I arrived home, it was pitch black the only thing that was illuminating was small dimly lamps places around the property. I threw my black coat off and revealed a white dress shirt. Nottingham and I went straight to the stables. Taking Nottingham's harness off, I let him roam around the paster for awhile. I watched with a warm feeling as he galloped and rolled all over the grass. My warm feeling went cold as I heard a small glass shatter from my house. I jumped up on the patio quietly. I quietly made my way to the door. I had my wrist crossbow on harms. Ready to fight. I opened the door and my blood went thin to what I saw next.

My sister tied and gagged to a chair, around her were about twenty men with weapons of all sorts. She sat there in tears terrified.

"Angela." I gasped.

Angela could only scream muffled words.

"Welcome home, Robin Hood." One of the thugs smirked wickedly.

"Let her go." I aimed my weapon at his chest.

"We have a job to do, it's either you or the girl." The man put his glock to my sister's head. She was terrified, started crying in terror.

"Angela I'm so sorry." I whispered. Her face was full of fear. I held my hands up in surrender. Looking frantically for one good shot. I saw I could shoot the book off my book shelf and it can hit one of the thugs and throw everyone off balance. I carefully with one hand switched one of my small arrows with a dull tip. I walked cautiously to the side.

"Might as well give up." The man pushed the glock further in my sister's temple.

I closed my eyes and breathed out.

"One shot." I breathed quietly. I closed my fist and shot the arrow in the air. It ricocheted off the ceiling, hitting the Robin Hood book and knocking it off it's shelf. The book case swung open hitting one of the thugs into a table. With everyone distracted I jumped into action. I dodged punches and threw punches. I upper cut the man that held a gun to my sister. Each punch gave me adrenalin. I was beating the one guy's face in when I felt a sharp pain hit my side. I looked down to see a bright red stain growing larger on my shirt. I dropped the guy and put my hand over the wound, trying to cease the bleeding. I looked at the person who shot me....

My eyes went wide...

"Angela." I breathed heavily and stared at disbelief.

"Don't try anything." She hissed through her teeth. I groaned in pain. I was near the display case. The glass to it was shattered now. I reached and grabbed one of my arrows, "I said don't move." She walked closer to me. Taking the arrow out of my hand. Putting the gun to my temple.

"Why?" I groaned in a loud whisper. I could taste the blood in my mouth and falling down my cheek.

"Why? Because of this!" Angela fired the gun it grazed my ear and shot straight in my uniform, "It's because of Robin Hood!" She was angry.

"This was setup." I hissed. My breath became hitched.

"And this dumb thing, dad was just someone for publicity!" She aimed her weapon at my knee, she fired and I shouted in pain. I slid to the ground holding both my wounds, "All this is for a stunt! All this killed everyone you love! You know it, you bitch!" Angela shot at my uniform and it fell tattered over my body.

"I'm sorry." I whispered, I was on the verge of passing out.

"And this damn thing!" She waved the arrow in the air, "This is why John is fucking dead! Why mom ran away! And why dad is in an asylum!" She aimed the gun once again at my face, "You're not Robin Hood, you're a joke."

"I'm sorry." I apologized again, what no one new that arrow Angela held was a taser arrow. I pressed a button on my cross bow and she dropped everything. Falling to the ground unconscious.

I held on tighter to my wounds. I could heard the door being kicked in. My vision went blurry, my breaths became more hitched. I clung tighter to my side trying to get the pain to cease. I blinked two more times only hearing my heartbeat and my breaths. A silhouette of a man stood there running towards me. I closed my eyes and didn't open them.

"Erin!" Was the last thing I heard.

I woke up with a jolt of pain. I stood up without even realizing it. I fell to the ground holding my knee.

"Ah!" I screamed.

"Erin, hold on." I heard a familiar voice once again.

"Laurie?" I asked

"I came by to drop this off, then I see you on the ground with several people... what the freaking hell happened?!"

"Betrayal." Was all I could say, "Where am I?" I asked. Laurie helped me back on the medical bed.

"I made Jon teleport you here." I looked around to see I was in Rockefeller Military Research Center, "Jon removed the bullets from you knee and side. He said no major permanent damages happened."

"Where's my sister?" I asked.

"I called the police..." Laurie looked down in shame, "but I grabbed as much of your belongings as possible. Even your uniform and weapons, it has a few bullet holes."

"Thanks." I groaned.

"You need some rest, what the hell happened in there though. You never explained it properly." Laurie asked.

"What does it matter." I slouched off the bed.

"It matters because you could have been killed." Laurie looked generally concerned.

"But I'm not dead, so what does it matter. Where's Jon?" I asked with so many questions.

"He's busy." Laurie lied.

"BS." I called her bluff. I stood up with pain but determination, "Jon!" I called.

"Erin." Laurie was pissed.

"We worked together Laurie, as heroes. You know I'm just as stubborn as you." Laurie shutup the minute I said heroes.

"Erin, what seems the problem." Dr. Manhattan appeared before my eyes, all his naked glory.

"I have questions that you need to answer." I was firm.
