"Pregnant?!" Laurie Shouted

"Wait, no. I can't be." I began.

"You are, I say about a month in." Ozymandias seemed to chuckle.

Everything was in a haze, the sudden scream of No echoed through the rooms.

Everyone was rushing so quickly. I could here the panting and running of footsteps.

I stood up but was even more nauseous. I puked once again.

"Goodbye Laurie." I could hear Dr. Manhatten.

Then I felt not a warm body but a body nonetheless.

"Jon?" I asked.

"Erin, you want to know why the Comedian shot your brother?" Dr. Manhatten didn't have a shred of emotion in his tone.

"Because he's a good for nothing bastard." I grunted Wiping the puke off my face.

"Your brother committed treason. I told him many people were going to die, but like you impatient and  unwilling to listen. He didn't know that when I meant many, I meant him and several of the enemy." Dr. Manhatten told me the story, of the Comedian and Robin Hood II saving America from more war. My brother, John told the Comedian to never mention this, for fear that his friend and teammate would be punished or killed. He made him swear this secret to the grave, now both fulfilled their oath.

"All this time..." I stuttered.

"I would not harp on it, especially the life you bare in you." Dr. Manhatten put his hand on my stomach.

"Tell me what you see for them." I asked.

"I am not permitted to tell you of their future let alone yours, but this child your bare will finish what you, your brother, and your father could not accomplish." Dr. Manhatten's words didn't leave a good taste in my mouth, but I didn't bother asking what.

The moment was gone as I heard Dan shouting and screaming from the room. I felt a paid of smaller arms pull me away.

"Veidt!" Shouted Dan.

Crashes, loud bang, and the grunts of pain coming from two men.

"You done Daniel?" Ozymandias seems to not have a care in the world.

"You deformed humanity with this lie, and now we have to carry its burden!" Dan shouted.

"Daniel, please no more." I called weakily, I puked once again and felt my body closing down. I fell to the ground.

"ERIN!" Laurie's voiced screamed.
