"We meet at the docks, you got that Robin Hood? I cut Nite-Owl off.
"I'm blind Nite-Owl, not deaf." I sneered a bit. I put my fingers to my mouth and whistled load. I could hear a loud noise from the ground below.
I gripped two of my arrows and shot it in the wall. Two long grappling ropes connected. I clipped one to my belt. And held the other out to Rorschach. I felt his hand take it and this he gripped my hand.
"Hurry." He grunted.
"We'll drive as many cops away from you guys." Nite-Owl said.
"Wait what?!" Silk Spectre gasped in disbelief.
Rorschach gripped my hand and we repelled down the side of the building. There Nottingham was waiting. Thankfully, most of the cops were too focused on the flying Archie to notice the costumed freaks on a horse.
As Rorschach and I rode away, a few cop cars followed and started shooting at us. We managed to evade several cops and I shot some of their tires out with sheer luck. We were so close, but I heard a bang, a squeal, and that's when Rorschach and I fell to the ground. It was just that one cop.
"No." I mouthed.
"Hands in the air!" I held my wrist up and shot the cop. Killing him. It was never my intentions, but I felt Nottingham gasping for his life.
"At the docks." Rorschach was pulling my arm.
"Nottingham." My tears dripping down my cheeks.
"Rorschach! Robin... Hood." I could hear Dan's voice.
"Shhh, it's okay, you're okay." The tear streaming down my cheeks uncontrollably as I held my dying horse in my arms.
His panting growing heavier but with little pants.
"Over here!" I could hear the voices of more cops.
"Robin Hood!" Rorschach was grabbing my arm and pulling me.
Nottingham took his last breath and with his final strength rubbed his head in my lap.
"No, no, no no no!" I screamed out. Rorschach picked me up and pulled me in Archie. I sat in the ship, I could hear the cops radioing about a dead cop and a dead horse.
"Erin... I'm..." Laurie began.
"Not now Laurie." I cut her off, I sat in the back, I pulled my blindfold mask off, and let the tears fall. I sat on a crate. Clutching my stomach with my arms. Then sudden feeling of nausea took over. I just sat there holding whatever in from that point.
"Daniel.." Rorschach began.
"I know." Daniel seemed to know the next approach.
