“They’ve got to be here somewhere.” Celestial peered through random doors of the school. “But the thing is, what if we do find them? Won’t it be suspicious?”
I paused. Goodness, she was valid. “Then what should we do?” I asked her.
Celestial’s eyes grew into slits. “Aren’t you the smart one?”
“Calm,” I muttered. “We need to stay calm. Should we just wait and see what happens? Or, confront Dio later?” I sighed and pressed my fingers against my temple. Dear, things were becoming quite complicated.
After the incident, we returned to our classes, where professors were calling out names. Celestial and I made it on time, except for Dio and… Rood Chrishi. They then showed up and said that they were both in the restrooms.
Class resumed as normal but the professors were quite busy. Dio acted very odd, however, which was how I was aware of something – that wasn’t Dio, but someone entirely different… Thus, Rood Chrishi seemed to know something about it.
After a while, since Dio was acting strange, Rood stood up. He pulled Dio along with him, saying something about having a “talk.” Quietly, Celestial and I stood up, walking around the class room. After a few seconds, we left and watched them walk down the hallway. They then entered a room.
Celestial and I walked down and entered the room besides the room they were in. Dio and Rood were arguing, then suddenly, it no longer sounded like Dio… but a man of an older age.
“…Rood. Listen to me. This is an order from your master.”
There was a sigh. “Understood. But… my head’s telling me to cut your throat right now.” There was the sound of a crack. Then shouting. “Why do you think I’m here in the first place? You came all the way here to tell me that nonsense?”
“No, I…”
“You don’t even know the whole situation! I don’t want to leave; but even if I did, I’m embedded into this situation now. We don’t have time for this! Dio needs to be…”
There was a loud crash. I took a large intake of breath. That magic, that power… It couldn’t have been anyone else but Shicmuon from the Association…
I then heard Shicmuon’s voice. “Why… is the master of Opion… here? Of course, I… was not wrong.”
The “master of Opion” shouted, “W-wait! There’s a misunderstanding!”
I heard a louder crash this time, and I flinched. Oh my crap…
“We need to do something!” Celestial whispered harshly to me. She gripped my arm so tightly that there were marks.
All the sounds disappeared. I felt magic being used. However, it was only a small use of magic… The main thing that could’ve been used was a teleportation scroll. Fortunately, there was enough magic for me to trace…
“Let’s go.” I tugged on Celestial’s arm. “
“Are we going to awaken again?”
I bit my bottom lip. I hadn’t thought about that. “Only if it’s extreme,” I said, “which could possibly happen. Let’s go check out the room.”
