Okay, so this morning, I woke up to a certain story on the Daily Mail's Snapchat story that caught my eye. I'm going to type the whole thing up and make a commentary at the end. Even my furry readers are going to be disappointed.
Man, 26, and woman, 22, arrested for fetish sex with 15-year-old boy they 'treated like a goat'
A Pennsylvania couple involved in the 'furry fandom' community have been accused of having sex with an underage teen boy that they met while playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Emily Javins, 22, and boyfriend, Jacob Becker, 26, of Westmoreland County, were arrested on charges of corruption of a minor on Saturday after the alleged 15-year-old victim's father discovered sexually explicit messages from the pair on his son's social media.
The boy, now aged 16, told police Javins is a 'furry' who takes on the persona of a cat, and that the adult couple would treat him like a 'pet goat'.
Furries are people who dress up as animals and identify as the chosen animal, often as a sexual fetish.
According to court documents, Javins admitted meeting the victim during a game of Dungeons and Dragons when he was 15-years-old.
Just before his 16th birthday, Javins said Becker instructed her to sit on the victims lap and kiss him. The following day, Javins admitted to having sex with the juvenile before Becker engaged in sexual acts with him.
Court papers allege that the pair swapped nude photos with the minor via Facebook Messenger, invited him to move in with them and offered to adopt him as a 'pet'.
When questioned by police, Becker admitted engaging in 'racy role play' with the teen that he characterised as 'pet training'.
It involved putting the child on a leash and having him eat cheesecake out of a bowl.
The 26-year-old man also allegedly confessed to sending the juvenile naked photos and videos.
Becker and Javins are currently being held in jail on $20,000 bonds.
So basically, these adults thought it would be a good idea to have sexual relations with an underage child. What the actual fuck?
Yes, we're back to cursing, continue.
The photos of Javins as a cat...? Awful. She has pink and blue hair extensions, pink and blue ears, and a cat nose and whiskers drawn on her face- probably in eyeliner- with black lipstick to match. Also there's a photo where she's wearing black and pink cat ears with pink bows in them. Nothing explicitly furryesque?
Her makeup skills are appalling, just putting that out there.
At first, I couldn't tell which one was which? They both have long, greasy hair and are very overweight, so you know. They look more like siblings, which makes me feel uneasy.
But this kid. I cannot imagine the trauma he must have gone through. I don't think he would've understood a lot of it? If you're not into the furry stuff, it's going to be weird when someone puts a collar and leash on you, isn't it?
The most unnerving thing was that Javins sat on a 15 year old's lap. No offense to those who are overweight; I'm not the skinniest bitch in the room. Sometimes looks like I ate the bitch though. Anyway, Javins is particularly large. Imagine not being fully developed and then having a large woman sit on you. I'd be crushed. Most people would be crushed.
I don't think they did furries any justice with this article. Like Kero (might do a chapter on him, ugh), they are giving the furry fandom a bad name because the furries I have spoken to are amazing people who I believe to be a different kind of furry. The 'mostly sexual' comment on furries was not supported by any evidence and shouldn't have been said, not in a news article.
