College.

Now, I get that a lot of you will be thinking "how is college gross?"

Trust me, kids. My college experience has been nothing but rocky.

So, first of all, my college course is mixed. Therefore, they have 30 year-olds with 16 year-olds.

This means there's a generation gap. Millennials and Gen X (I think that's what it is but cba to really google it so you can just put up with that).

However, in my course, there is a girl younger than me (so she's 16) and she has had 4 relationships in the space of the 3 months we've been here. And they've overlapped. Right? Let's call her Lily (not even close to her real name).

Then we have a woman older than me. She's 31. She's getting married next year. She gets along well with Lily, surprisingly enough. We'll call this woman by her real name because I don't care about her anonymity, so her name is Sere (Sereniel).

Sere and Lily have a habit of calling each other a slag. And I used to go between the two groups because I never really liked picking one friend group. There have been a few times where I have tried to get my friends to be friends. Like when I invited one mate to my NCS graduation, which was an event that my main friend group (Literally 3 people + Action Man because he doesn't talk to me even though I bought him ginger nuts :( )and my boyfriend were attending. In the end, I ended up spinning on the floor of a Tesco in a red dress with a split up the leg. I couldn't get up after picking 3 different bags of pretzels, don't judge me. I wanted snacks.

ANYWAY. I basically outed them? And then it got worse.

Because this guy in our class liked me and I got uncomfortable with him touching me (hugging me from behind, squeezing my knee, rubbing my thighs), I got called a slag and get slut shamed whenever I wear false eyelashes. I fucking love wearing false eyelashes.

It was then made out that I was the one calling everyone a slag. I got called all sorts and such.

By who?

Sere.

She manipulated people who liked me before because one day, D (an older guy in our class) was telling me that everything would get better, the next he called me lazy and entitled because I wouldn't open a tool box... A tool box I was stood by waiting for the tutor because the key wouldn't turn to unlock it. The biggest guy in our class - Lily's current boyfriend - couldn't even budge it. The tool box had to be broken into to retrieve the tools and replaced. But she said something because he would have offered to help me before.

Also, I'm friends with this guy who got kicked out of the course due to being violent. The adults don't like him because he would intimidate them. However, he was okay with the younger ones because they weren't authoritative, so this included me. I've been called so many names for being friendly with him. He was recently done for GBH and possession of drugs with intent to supply (Lean, Molly, Weed. A lot of shit). However, if I need help, he's one of the first people to jump to my side?

To be honest, he didn't commit GBH, so yeah.

But my point is that I was being slut shamed for wearing eyelashes by a 31 year-old woman with a bad dye job and shitty makeup skills. I'm just over half her age. And the worst part is that college's response was to put me in a separate room. Okay, because that will help.

Long story short: I'm leaving college in favour of another course that's basically NCS 2.0. It's 12 weeks, free, and features a week-long residential to the peak district on the very first week. I'm going to do this up until my A-levels in September 2020 so I can get my UCAS points to go to Uni so I can be a criminal psychologist.

Yeah.
