Everything Is Gross

Review because I'm gross

Of course, sometimes we might just refer to food as being gross.

So that's what I'm doing. 

I have recently tried a bunch of American snacks. Some great, some not so great. 

1 - Twinkies

Okay...

What the fuck is this????

The first one was nice. But basic and probably has a better tasting British equivalent. 

Then... Then I had another one a couple days later. And it was not good at all. There was no test reminiscent of the one I had last time. And the rest were the same. There was a box of 10 (eaten over a 2-3 month period, I'm not that bad) and 1/10 was good.

They were thick and metallic and stodgy. 

Overall? - 3/10

2- Jolly Ranchers 

I got so excited when I saw these? I'd heard good things.

There were 2 different kinds, but because I like this kind of thing, I'm going to rate the individual flavours I tried.

Watermelon. Now, I hate watermelon and watermelon flavouring? It makes me feel ill and I think it tastes quite floral, like a mixture of bubblegum and parma violets. This one got spat out immediately. 0/10

Cherry. For those who don't know me, lemon and cherry are my favourite flavours for sweets. My all time favourite sweets are the giant Haribo cherries. Fuck yeah. But this sweet? Oh my god... fucking amazing. However, it wasn't my favourite out of the Jolly Ranchers? 8/10

Blue Raspberry. Another flavour that I am in love with. However, Jolly Rancher Blue Raspberry? Surprisingly does not slap. It's kind of basic and like an afterthought. The flavour became popular and it's like they had to be quick to jump on the trend. 5/10

Green Apple. I love certain apple flavoured things, like Tango. And these Jolly Ranchers can be added to the list of good apple flavourings. 6/10

Wild Strawberry. This was great. I loved it. This flavour is great and underrated for boiled sweets (So things like Jolly Ranchers). 7/10

Grape. Holy Shit. I was amazed and confused and I decided that these were the best things? 10/10. I have no other words.

3 - Pop-tarts 

Only ever tried the strawberry ones and the chocolate ones, but I've seen the confetti cake ones around.

Let me tell you, I'm not a big fan of the strawberry ones, but the chocolate ones? I love them. Currently have a box reserved for Christmas eve. 

Pop tarts are great and I give them 8/10.

But I want more flavours, ngl. 

4 - Flipz

Okay. 

So, I like all the flavours I have tried?

That's the unicorn fudge ones, the white fudge ones, the milk chocolate ones and the caramel sea salt ones.
