It Wasn't What It Seemed To Be

Chapter 1 -A Clear Cut-

"Soraru!" Soraru turned around to hear a voice behind him and only  to see a red eyed brunette smiling.
"You know what today is." Soraru sighed.
"I know, I know. No need to remind me of my chores today Mamatsuki."
"It's Amatsuki! A-M-A-T-S-U-K-I-!" He exclaimed as the raven head just smirked.
As Soraru stood up, Amatsuki went out the room to start waking up everyone else. All of their friends lived in the same house since well, alot had happened between their side and their enemies side. Once Soraru went downstairs, he started to cook breakfast for the friends that were getting ready.

"C'mon! Get your- butt down here- Kashi!" The brunette yelled.
Soraru sighed as he continued to set up the table.
"Morning..." A blued eyed male said tiredly. Amatsuki turned to the male and beamed a smile.
"Morning Sou!"
Sou turned back and returned the smile, "Morning Mamatsuki."
Soraru and Kashitarou snickered as the brunette gave a glare.
"Would everyone stop calling me that?!" The three smiled at Amatsuki and shook there heads. As Soraru placed the food on the table, Amatsuki , Kashitarou, and Sou sat down. Soraru joined them after waiting for a while for the other four.

After a few more minutes came four more people to sit down. Amatsuki shook his head slightly before speaking, "Were were you guys? We were here a while ago."
"Sorry, someone didin't want to get up early..." The green eyed male said slightly annoyed at the blond next to him. Kashitarou looked over to the person next to the brunette.
"Let me guess, was it Senra?"
The brunette sighed, "Yep it was him alright."
"Um... But I would've gotten up normally if you gave me some time Urata." The blond spoke while looking at the brunette.
Kashitarou nodded before turning to the other two next to Soraru.
"What about you two? Why did you guys get here late?."
"Yeah, you're usually on time. What was up?" Soraru said in curiosity.

The two males look at eachother and sighed before answering, "Shonen had forgotten where his weapon was so I helped him out." The brown eyed blond said.
Amatsuki smiled, "Un:c is such a good friend! Shonen did you say your thanks to him?"
Shonen nodded as he took a bite from the egg that the raven haired male had cooked. Before anyone could take a bite, someone would talk about something. This was normal for the friends, but usually the only one's who'd finish their food was really Soraru, Sou, Amatsuki, and Urata. As for the others, the one's who needs to be reminded to eat was Kashitarou and Senra, sometimes Shonen or Un:c.
"And I said-!"
"Would you guys at least be quiet for at least a few minutes? I bet your food is already cold enough." Soraru said while picking up the plates. The blond looked at his plate before giving an awkward smile.
"Um... Right! I was just gonna do that!"
"Well you better or i'll make you pay for it."
Senra looked at him frowning.
"Why?"
The blue eyed male looked at him before speaking, "To have some money. Now since you still didin't shut up, give me some money."
"What?! Why?!" The blond exclaimed.
"Cause why not? And besides, if you eat it all now, you wont have to pay."
Senra looked at his food and frowned.
"But it's already cold..."
"And who's fault was that?" Amatsuki said while fixing his stuff.
Senra looked at the brunette and then at Soraru.
"Fine..."
"You too Kashi." Amatsuki said after seeing Kashitarou trying to sneak away.  Sou smiled after seeing the two eat their food.
"I guess no one can ever beat Mamastuki."
Soraru nodded, "Yep."
"I said stop calling me that!"

After the friends had done their chores, Soraru grabbed his sword before heading. Of course he had to tell someone he was heading out. The forest was quite damp after it had rained that night. To his surprise, there was nothing dangerous. But then again, since when was the forest dangerous? Well at least in their territory.
As the swordsman was walking, he stumbled across a cave. Actually it was the cave he was looking for. As headed inside, he found many rocks and to his curiosity, he cracked one of them open seeing it was a bit round. In tbe inside were tiny beautiful crystals. Soraru smiled as he took some putting them in his bag. After a while of exploring, something caught his eye. It was glowing a beautiful shade of green. But before he could get any closer, his name was called.
"SORARU! SORARU!" Sou yelled out.
The swordsman came out the cave only to be dragged away.
"What's wrong?"
Sou shook his head as he started running.
"Now's not the time to explain-! We just need to hurry up to the neighbouring village!"
Soraru nodded as he followed close behind.

When they arrived, Soraru's eyes widened in horror. Houses were being burned down, people screaming in both pain and fear. Soraru couldn't move, he was shocked to see such a peaceful village suddenly turn to chaos.
"SORARU! FOCUS!" Kashitarou yelled as he carried an injured child.
Soraru nodded as he went around to see any survivors still out there lost in the burning village. Nothing, he could see nothing but fire. Then he heard sobbing, it was a women's sob. He quickly went to find the victim but only to hear screaming. When he opened the house he only saw the head of the women detached from her body. He closed his eyes calming himself. But before he could leave, he noticed a giant cut on the wooden floor.
"Hey, did you find any survivors here-" Amatsuki stopped talking once he saw the body.
The brunette sighed and spoke softly, "Let's just go..."
