"I'm tried..."

Looking back at Sou, the masked male went ahead and catched up with the two males who were currently leading everyone. "Soraru? Urata? Is it alright we all take a break? We've been walking for a long while now and some of us look tired already..." Eve said, clearly not trying to act rude towards the two males in any way.

Urata and Soraru looked at each other before turning their heads towards the younger male. "Don't worry Eve, it's fine." Soraru responded with before a certain green eyes brunette could protest. After all, he knew that Urata wanted to get through the cave as quickly as he could after all. So it was obvious for Soraru to know his answer.

"Thank you so much then, I'm sure everyone else will appreciate it." Eve said with a smile, happily walking back to his dear blue-eyed friend.

As the group settled, the friends sat next to each other quietly. Both tired, and nervous. The village they were heading to was described to be very beautiful with rich soil and lovely flowers all around. It's a very safe haven for those such as villagers. It's been that way ever since villages had reported to be attacked, or even villages who have ended up destroyed. At least for the land that half of the group belonged in. As for the others like Luz, their land was least in danger.

Luz after had always made sure their land was always up ahead and ready. Always taking responsibility for those in his area. He is the Lord after all and so, he felt nervous not being around to help or defend. The blonde then turned his head to look at the ravennette, feeling a frown on his face before looking away. Something inside him, felt uneasy about the male. The deep blue sapphire eyes felt too familiar whenever he thought about it.

And he didn't like it.

The swordsman had always been trying his best to help the group, and has been a good friend towards everyone. So why has he been feeling uneasy about someone who's even helped his closest friends who he loves as family?

"Luz?"

"Ah, Naruse, Araki." He spoked while giving his regular smile towards the two. The pink haired male simply leaned his head as he stared at the Lord in front of him, "Is something wrong?"

"No.. it's just-"

"Again with the bad lies... Luz, you can always talk to us you know. You don't always have to take things so seriously on your own." Araki said before letting out a sigh. Nodding in agreement Naruse had decided to add on, "Yep~ And besides, we couldn't help but notice that you've been acting weird lately as well. You know, being all quiet and stuff like frowning."

"Heh.. I guess I can't hide anything from you two huh?"

Earning a smack on the head, Araki was shaking his head, "Well you shouldn't be hiding anything from us anyways." Smiling, Luz gave a small nod at his friend before letting out a chuckle, "I suppose you're right." He said as he faced the two with a warm expression.

"So? Spill it, whats been on your mind?" The red head asked, clearly showing small hints of curiosity, but mostly in the moment, it was just his concern that was showing. Luz only looked up at him a and let out a sigh, "You see... It's something about Soraru."

"Kashi, what do you think we should do once we get to Hayakawa Village?" The brunette asked, setting his head on the older's shoulders. Smiling to the red-eyed male, Kashitarou hummed, wondering that himself. "Well, perhaps we can show them around the rivers in the area." He said, pulling the younger closer, giving him a quick kiss on the forehead gently. As expected from the loving brunette, always showering Amatsuki with open love it seems.

"Oi! Love birds!" Urata yelled, most definitely surprising the two brunettes from their sweet moment. Sighing as he walked over to them, the green-eyed started sit next to the two, seemingly almost annoyed. "What's wrong? Your face is awfully red." Kashitarou asked, eyeing the male suspiciously. Though seeing the smaller brunette's expression, it was either because he was upset, or just flat out annoyed by most likey someone who they know.

"Urata-!" A smiling Sakata cheered, though not being able to say anything else due to the green-eyed male moving behind Amatsuki.

"Mother save me."

"Excuse me what-" The taller male said, turning his head to his friend who was currently behind his back. Kashitarou on the other hand, let out a chuckle at the three. "Is it that you're scared of Sakata?" He asked, knowing how much Urata would deny such comment. And as expected, the shorter male moved upfront as he shook his head. "Me? Sacred of him-? Don't be ridiculous."

Sakata had a smile as he witnessed the there's interaction. Of course, he only did these things like annoying Urata, mostly because he wanted to share his joy with his dear old friend. Though to him, he only lowered his head as he let out a tiny frown. But only for a brief moment. He just didint want to ruin the mood between the three males.

"Alright, it's time to head out!"

The rest turned their heads to the familiar voice from the swordsman who was holding the torch in hand. Beside him was Anku who seemed to have a bright confident smile on his face. And to everyone's surprise, the smile had simply made the mood brighter than ever. Ever since what had happened to him having being forced to work for Suzumu, he hasn't smiled due to his guilt. But it seems today, something had clicked that caused the blonde to happily smile. And to be fair, everyone preferred it that way.

Standing up with their things in hand, the group continued on. Being sure to not trip. Especially for a certain albino who was known in Luz's group for being clumsy. But for now, things had to stay as it is. And so, the group of friends continued on. Though the more they continued on, it seemed to grow darker and dimmer than it already was. The atmosphere around them had went dull all of a sudden.

"Hey! I think we're close!-" Before Anku could even finish his sentence, Soraru quickly made a gesture to shush the blonde. Looking at the two confused, Naruse could only tilt his head.

"Is something wrong?"

The ravennette gave a nod as he looked around in a cautious manner, finally getting the idea of what was going on around them. "Anku, how close are we to your home village?" He asked in an almost eager tone.

"We should be very close now, why do you ask?"

"Because we need to go, now-" He said, eyes showing worry. Almost immediately, the group felt the cave shaking as the small rocks from the ceiling fell down above them. Not giving a second thought, the group starting running the quickest they possibly could. But even at their fastest, they still felt like they wouldn't make it. That is until a certain blonde starting speaking out.

"Over here, follow me! We're almost to the exit-!" He yelled, determined to get his friends to safety. Finally, after seeming like they couldn't, they made it out on time, but just barely. Looking back behind them as they panted, wanting to catch their breath, the cave's rocks has ended up blocking the exit they had just came from. Truly had they been thankful for getting out on time. Especially thanks to their friend Anku who had led them quickly.

"W-Well..! We made it!" Luz said, smiling at the scenery before him. The rest turned to see as they were feeling at ease. Before them stood a bridge, a very well made bridge. And to the young Lord's surprise, it had actually looked nicer, and even sturdier than the bridges back where home was. The houses of the villagers looked rather nice as well. Children were with their families, almost as if this whole conflict between lands was never a thing.

"Well, well~ Nice to see new faces around here!" Said a voice that belonged to a young woman with a pair of red eyes with her golden blonde hair. With a smile, she held out her hand as she faced the group.

"I'm Kuro, I hope we get along~"

Looks like we have a new character in the story! Kuro will now appear as a part of the story from this specific village~ I'm excited to write the next part, and hopefully, it'll come out well~ Though I'm sorry if this one wasn't a good chapter, because I felt like this wasn't really the most exciting one. But, I also wanted to say another thing.
