"Quickly!"
Sou was quickly leading the villagers to safety after leaving the scene. And all he could think about right now, was getting the villagers to safety. The more they ran, the closer they had gotten until the saw a familiar cave. He stopped and turned to the villagers, "Go through here! It'll get you to the other side where the entrance of the village is. Just follow the torches... And stay safe."
The villagers then quickly started entering in the cave, leaving Sou alone, but relieved that he could help. But right now, he should get to the others. As he walked through the woods looking for his friends he found that an umbrella was on the ground. But quickly got kicked after he had tried picking it up. He looked up at the figure appeared to be a male who had mint green hair, and was wearing a mask.
"Are you from Luz's troops?" He asked, while giving a glare. The male infront of him only kept silent before trying to hit him again, but this time with his umbrella. Sou quickly took out his book and casted an ice barrier infront of him. He thought this would stop him since all the male had an umbrella, but instead, the masked figure had broke through the ice with the tip of the umbrella in hand.
Sou only stood back before the male could attack again, but only getting interrupted.
"That's enough Eve."
The two turned to a blond on his horse before Sou's eyes widened in worry. But he then saw the albino who was staring at the ground not making any eye contact. And from the looks of it, Mafu didn't look like his happy usual self. He then noticed the masked male next to him was glancing at him before he started walking to Luz. The blond only looked at Sou and gave a silent glare before ordering his troops to head back.
Sou frowned before walking back where he had left off. He wanted to help the albino but, right now, he couldn't stand a chance against Luz. Not when his ice magic wasn't strong enough.
As the troops walked back, it was silent. No one was saying anything, usually it would be the albino to get excited over things on their side but, this time, it was just silent. When they reached the castle, Luz had decided to let the gaurds take the rest of the day off since he just wanted to be left alone for a bit. And to apologize to the albino for his actions. But when he turned, Mafu had already left, most likely to his room.
He sighed before going to his room before sitting down on his chair next to his desk, only to hear a knock on the door. "Come in."
When he looked up, he saw a red-eyed male frowning in disappointment at him. "With all due respect Luz, but what was that?" Araki asked in annoyment. The blond stayed silent for a few moments before giving a response, "Im sorry... I-I wasn't thinking straight.. I was still stressed about Mafu's disappearance and when I saw he tried to protect that swordsman, I got ang-"
"So you had to hit him?!" Araki yelled. Luz could tell the male was angered and so he faced away looking at the front of his desk. "Do you realize how much how that hurt him?! I thought you cared about Mafu-!"
Luz clenched his fists, "Because I was stressed out!" Araki only sighed before shaking his head, "Well, you better calm that stress level of yours then. And you should later apologize to Mafu too." Luz nodded before laying his head on his desk after the knight had left the room. He felt so much guilt, but he wanted to let the albino have some time to himself before he could apologize.
In the albino's room, he was on his bed hugging his pillow for comfort crying softly. This was actually the first time Mafu and Luz had an argument. The two of them were so close, that no one thought one of them would ever get get mad at eachother. Luz would always have Mafu by his side, he would always make time for him and with others.
He hugged his pillow even tighter before placing his hand on the side of his face where he was hit. He couldn't help but just feel hurt, usually he wouldn't mind getting hit like that. He had gotten used to it when he was a child, until Luz had showed up and stopped all that. But for him, it hurt because it was Luz who had hit him, someone who he saw as a brother.
He spent minutes there lying on his bed silently before hearing a knock on his door, "You can come in..."
When he turned to the other side of his bed facing at the group infront of him. "Mafu... You ok?" A pink haired male asked. Mafu nodded as he tries giving a smile before Sakata started placing a tray of cookies with milk on the side of his cabinet, "We got you some cookies and milk." He smiled. Mafu gave a tiny smile, "Thanks Sakatan."
"Want some now to make you feel better?" A male with purple hair asked, while giving a kind smile. Mafu looked at him and nodded before sitting up. Araki gently placed the silver tray on the angel's lap as the rest stood up hoping it would lighten up tne albino's mood.
After taking a bite of one of the cookies, he quickly smiled. "Who.. Made it?" He asked. Araki smiled, "It was Eve. He wanted to bake you some cookies to help you feel better." Mafu looked at the masked male and gave a bright smile, "Thank you so much Eve! It's really good!"
Eve nodded, "Your welcome, im glad I could help." Then they heard the door open, the group turned around to see Luz closing the door. "May I speak with Mafu for a moment please?" The group nodded before opening door, leaving the two alone after closing the door.
Mafu placed the tray of cookies back on top of the cabinet before sitting down on his bed, avoiding eye contact from the blond. Luz stayed quiet before sitting next to the angel. The two sat there in silence before Luz was the first to break it.
"Mafu... Im sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I was just stressed out at that moment. But even so, I still shouldn't have done that." He explained. Luz then gently pulled the albino into a hug, "I really am sorry, please forgive my actions Mafu..."
"Promise..?"
Luz smiled, "Promise."
He then felt a pair of arms hug him back but he could hear the albino's quiet sobbing, so he gently kept patting the back of Mafu's head gently, while still keeping him in his embrace.
Luz smiled, it's been a while since he had last hugged the albino. He was just glad he was back, but even so, he had an uncomfortable feeling about the swordsman Mafu was with. Pherhaps he was just too overprotective.
But for some reason, the male just seemed too familiar. He simply ignored the feeling before letting go of the angel before smiling kindly at him. "Why don't we head to the thrown room, Nqrse and I had a surprise for you before you disappeared. And besides, im sure the rest want to make sure your ok now."
Mafu had a tiny smile on his face, "Of course." The blond nodded before standing up and handing his hand towards the angel, keeping his smile on his face.
"Then let's go."
