It Wasn't What It Seemed To Be

Chapter 32 -The Crystal Caves-

"Oi! Idiot! Don't just run off like that!" A certain green-eyed brunette called. Sakata simply turned to the shorter male as he smiled, "It's fine! There's nothing dangerous here anyways~" That of course led Urata to smack the petite boy on the arm.

"How mean~"

"Your fault."

"Oi, focus you two." Amatsuki said as he shook his head. Honestly, to him those two seemed to always stick together, even though they were technically from a different group. Yet he couldn't help but smile seeing Urata open up a bit towards someone. Most times, he was actually quieter than Soraru himself.

He sighed before looking over to the rest as he sighed, feeling glad that at least the rest seemed to be doing okay. But something had caught his eye, which was a certain dark feathered angel who had his hand on his cheek. He walked over to him with a worried expression on his face, "You alright?"

The albino blinked before giving a soft smile, "Yeah. I'm fine! I thought I felt something haha." Being the motherly figure he is, the brunette only shook his head, not buying any of it.

"Mafu-kun, it's alright to say something if there's something bothering you." He explained while the other showed him on what seemed to be a barcode, except only this time... The albino's cheek had black little growing markings. With a confused look, Amatsuki started to wonder, "Where did you get those?"

"He had those for a little while, but those marks weren't there the last time we saw it. It was just the barcode itself-"

"And so you didn't mention it?"

After Soraru gave a nod, Urata had stopped everyone's tracks. As he examined the area around them, he soon shook his head while turning to the group behind him. "Sorry, I thought I saw something. Let's keep going." He said, walking on as the others followed meanwhile Soraru stayed in the back in case of any problems.

"Better not be lying tanuki." The ravenette muttered.

After a while, the group spotted a cave. And almost immediately, Sakata walked near it as he beamed an excited smile. "Look!"

Looking over, inside the cave was glowing with shiny colored crystals. The group had then started to walk inside, admiring the beautiful area while sticking together. "Amazing... Back where we live, we don't have these type of beautiful caves." Luz said, gently picking up a silver colored crystal in his hand. Closely examining the crystal, he looked over to the knight who was currently looking around the illuminated area.

"Hey, you don't think any of these are the same like the one Suzumu took right?" The ravenette simply looked away as he let out a sigh, "No. Its not. And besides, I just want everyone else to enjoy their time here before we go back to looking for Suzumu." He explained, eyeing the happy looking group in front of them. The lavender-eyed male simply gave a nod before leaning on the cave wall.

The two were watching everyone enjoying their time. Sakata was pestering Urata meanwhile a certain masked male was handing out cookies to everyone. It would sometimes go from a very calm area, to a chaotic one from the energetic group.

"Oi! Nqrse! Mafu! Get down down from there!"

Looking down at the motherly brunette, the two males giggled while sitting on a tall flat crystal pillar with a smile. "But it's nice up here~" Nqrse said in response as he playfully kicked his legs into the air. Sakata looked up as he tilted his head, "Eh? How did you both get up there so quickly?"

Urata only crossed his arms as he shook his head at the red-head, "They have wings, idiot."
