It Wasn't What It Seemed To Be

Chapter 30 -Lets Get Along-

"Ngh.. Eve..?" Sou whispered, seeing the other male hugging him tightly in his sleep. Seeing this action made him turn red as he looked away, trying to process and remind himself of last night from dinner. He sighed, now looking down at his sleeping friend as he let out a soft smile.

Gently, he tried to get Eve unwrap his arms around him, but ended up failing miserably. It wasn't that he didn't like this, it was the fact that a certain brunette could enter the room any moment and scold him for being late. And no one really likes being scolded first thing in the morning.

The only thing was, is that the male's mask seemed to be off. He figured it must've fell or slipped off when Eve tried hugging him. In curiosity, he started to try to lean in to see the other's face. But instead felt movement from his friend before panicking a bit, wanting to quickly get out of the other's grasp.

"S-Sou...?"

The male turned even more red as he felt Eve suddenly let go and turn away from him, covering his face in embarrassment as he stayed quiet. Sou wanted to say something, but the other male was already softly talking out again, "I-Im so sorry... I didn't mean to hug you like that-!" He stuttered, trying to find his mask with his free hand while the other was still covering his face.

"No it's alright Eve! You weren't feeling yourself last night from getting drunk, so really... It's okay." He said, reassuring the other male with a smile. Eve then turned to him, smiling under his mask, "Alright then... If you say so... But-" Before he could finish his sentence, the bedroom door flew open and soon closed from a panting brunette who looked scared.The two who were still on the bed only looked at him, both questioning Kashitarou.

"A-Ah.... Sorry. But um.. Is it okay if I hide in your room Sou?" He asked, keeping the door closed. Eve and Sou looked at each other, then at the brunette before Sou gave his awnser.

"Um... Sure? Go ahead-"

"ALRIGHT THANKS!"

Telling from the tone, both males knew something was scary enough to scare the life out of Kashitarou. And they were about to stand up before seeing the door, once again flying open with a smiling red-eyed brunette infront of them, and to be honest. His smile only got the two scared.

"Oh, good morning you two! You two haven't seen Kashi around, have you?" He asked, holding a frying pan. And by god did Sou and Eve want to leave the room when noticing that.

"N-No... We haven't, I mean if he was here, both Eve and I would've talked to him for a bit-"

"You stuttered, Sou." Amatsuki said, still having that same smile as he slowly walked up to the male. But while he did, Eve had quickly reached out to the brunette, giving him a bag of cookies. Not wanting his dear friend to get smacked by a frying pan. "Please have some, cookies always cheers someone up in the morning." Amatsuki smiled, happily accepting the cookies.

"Thank you Eve!"

His mood immediately brightened up before deciding to gently pat both of the male's heads. And before the brunette could say anything else, from the closet door had accidentally flung open. Revealing Kashitarou from his hiding place before feeling a certain male's stare while looking at the floor.

"Kashi..."

"Ah... Um, I can explain?"

Amatsuki gave a sigh, helping the other get up fr the ground before lightly smacking him on the head. To be honest though, both Eve and Sou were expecting the brunette to smack the male with a frying pan. But seeing that Kashitarou was infact together with their friend, they supposed it made sense that the red-eyed brunette was softer with him.
