NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

"Who's the unfortunate person that fapped my water oh. Water that i just fetched now now and i say let me carry soap and boom, water have disappear. BHS students have started again oh" Someone screamed from the courtyard and i laughed.

Welcome to BHS where they fap (steal) everything fapable. Be it pant, water, provisions, new notes even your class notes.  When I was in JSS2, i remember bathing and i washed my face first, before I knew it someone poured my water and i had to beg around for people to give me one bailer each before I could bath properly.

We closed early today and the principal said no afternoon or night prep till next week, I'm so happy abeg. I was sitting on my bed while reading some harlequin novels i got for Christmas gift from my aunt that's in London, Aunty Tomi.

"Sorry, is this your novel harlequin?" Someone asked in a soft voice and i looked up to check who it was. The queen herself, Crystal Adenuga.

"Yes" I replied before turning the next page and I thought she had left before she spoke again.

"Can you lend me please when you're done? I promise that it won't tear or get rough" She pleaded and i felt like a queen for a moment. The popular Crystal Adenuga was begging me for me novel.

I jumped down from my bed and i opened my locker, i brought out two other novels that I've read and i gave it to her. She smiled at me before hurrying back to her bed, no doubt to start reading too.

"Gbemi, come down let's play game. The hostel is dry and all that. I don't even know what you people see in this novel of a thing. You and Crystal like this, novel don build house for una brain" Maryam pulled the novel away from my hand and I laughed before coming down. I folded the top of the page where I stopped before putting it under my pillow. I changed my mind and I removed it from under there, I threw it inside my locker before BHS girls will show me pepper.

The remaining girls were seated on the floor except Crystal who was sitting near the wall with the novel in her hand, she was blushing hard and Alicia threw her slippers at her.

"See as she dey blush like mumu but if na man tell you I love you, you go dey look like stone" Crystal gave her the middle finger without raising her head from the book now.

"Crystal now, drop the book and join. Even Gbemi has dropped hers and your head isn't bigger than hers" Toluwalase whined and Crystal grumbled before dropping the book on her bed.

"I just pray when second weekers resume, they don't put annoying people inside this room abeg or thieves. I don't want rude juniors too" Crystal said and everyone agreed.

I'm very careless with my locker key and i wont like someone stealing my things. My roommates at Makama Bida hall know how much I hate if people touch my things without my permission.

"Which game should we play now?" Alicia asked and everyone started suggesting different games. We ended up picking twenty questions just to know each other better and all that.

"Gbemi, ever had a crush on someone?" Maryam asked wiggling her brows and i went red at the question. My mind drifted back to my only crush since I entered BHS. Dunmininu Drey.

I know we are going to move past being just crush soon and i will be his main.

"This one you're blushing ehn" Alicia winked at me and i laughed. Crystal clapped her hands in excitement.
"Yunno i use to like this kind of things. Secret crushes and all that" Crystal added.
"Yeah, Senior Dunmininu" I finally replied and the girls started cheering. This girls are something else.
