Dear Journal,

George came by today.

I was just upstairs contemplating whether or not I should take Bartholomew outside today when I heard a knock at the front door, and when I went downstairs to open it, he was just standing there by himself.

There was no car, so I assumed he walked.

After he came in, he aid that he just wanted to have a talk with me, so I made some tea in the kitchen and we sat down on the sofa.

First, he asked how Bartholomew and I were doing.

At least someone had the courtesy to ask me that.

I replied, saying that we were fine for the most part. I did tell him how Bartholomew's behavior had changed, but nothing beyond that.

Actually, I now kind of wish I told him about my hair thinning, because it seems to not be improving. Maybe that shampoo and conditioner I have were just lying about their claims to help with that.

I don't know this area to well, so I don't know another store that I can go to.

Anyway, George told me that he, John, and Paul were thinking about going somewhere together soon. They hadn't decided on when or where to yet.

I said that I was completely free as far as I knew, and I suggested that even tonight sounded good, but he said that John and Paul need more time to figure out on what we're doing.

After that, we just talked about some usual stuff, and I kept noticing that George was staring at the scar on my head.

Eventually, I asked him if it was that noticeable, and he just said that he didn't remember the bald spot being that big.

Good thing I have my hat in my closet.

So, after ending our conversation, George and I said goodbye as he went out the door.

I watched as he walked up the street.

Turns out, he really did just walk here. That proves that they went to a different hotel since I've been in this house.

That happened about an hour ago.

For now, I think I'll make myself something to eat and another cup of tea.

I still wonder if I should take Bartholomew out today.
