All set, now I just have to wait for my mom's friend to come pick me up and get things done. My mom's eyes are painted into a pale red, pretending being strong and all, so I pull her into a tight hug. What she doesn't understand is that, that's not the last time we are going to see each other. Why everybody is being so extra, damn. Even my other friends were acting that way when me met up the other day. Jaden, my brother, he surprised me since this morning. He woke me up, prepared my snacks, helped pulling my luggage out, he even hugged me. Imagine that sibling that you grew up with and were born to fight and annoy your existence, hugged you genuinely...yeah exactly that.

I hear the car of my mom's friend in the driveway, so I go out and greet her. Wow, it's actually chilly outside, it's barely the end of August, I guess the rain twisted the weather for the day. Glad I put my cardigan on. My mom's buddy making fun of her and my brother for the way they look at the moment. After hugs, and kisses, and blessings, I hopped in the car and waved at them. As we drive away, I look back again, and it was at this moment that I did tear up. I love these two people more than life itself and the thought of being away from them is kinda hard for me, but all birds gotta leave their nest in order to learn about life. I pop my chest, with my 38 DD cup, take a deep breath and let it all out in a weird noise.

Yep, let's look forward, I just need to visit them on my breaks.

In the car, my mom's friend and I talked, sang, joked around until we reached destination, Toronto Pearson Int. Airport.

Luggage, check, boarding pass, check, ID, check. Now let's just sit down and wait anxiously. Yeah anxiously, apparently I'm getting more and more nervous each second passing by. It's just a two hours flight and some minutes behind it.

Nice flight and all, but I gotta pee. As soon as I get all my stuffs, I dashed to the nearest washroom. Aaahh~ Feels so good to get relieved. I finish doing my business, wash my hands, and oop- my hair! Jesus Christ! Uh uh! I fix my hair real quick and head to the front of the airport. There was someone who was supposed to come pick me up, she or he, or whoever, is a student from campus. I guess she or he is doing some community work. I do a mental note about doing as much hours as I can while studying, it might get me some scholarships too. Ok I've been waiting for about 20 minutes, don't get me wrong I still have some patience, it's only 20 minutes. I see a guy walking up to me...nah not me, there was someone standing near me. Five more minutes after, I see an Asian girl walking to me so I don't pay her much attention, she's probably looking at someone behind me or so. Nope! She targeted me.

"Hey, are you Raven?", she asks me with a bit of panting in her phrase.

"Hi yes that's me", I look at her with a friendly smile, she looks like she ran here or something, "and you are...?", she seems to forget to tell me who she is.

"Oh! Sorry, I'm Mindy Xiao, pleasure to meet you, I'm from campus and here to pick you up, as you might already know."

"Nice to meet you too and thank you for doing this." I say as she leads me to her car.

"Nah don't thank me. By the way I'm sorry for being late." She smiles in an apologetic way.

I pat her back as a sign of "it's ok girl ". In the highway I was amaze by some nice looking buildings, some parks and people on their roofless car, it was warmer in here than Toronto. So I turn to Mindy and start the conversation. I learned that she was born in China and came here when she was five, she's a year older than me, well... two years older, I'm not 20 yet but will be soon, she's a gamer, and she's been with her second boyfriend for five years now. Man, I haven't even dated yet, I only had crushes and that was all. She seems like a good kid, I wish she had the same program as mine.
