Two weeks past since I came to Winnipeg, they went great. Mindy and I quickly became close, that also goes to Sam, not gonna lie they are really nice people. They can be funny at times, however sometimes I feel like I'm third-wheeling for real. When I take a great look at them, they are each other, like Mindy does things that reminds me of Sam and the other way around, we could say that they're practically married.

Anyhow, I got my timetable, I bought the three most important books that I will need for now. Let me tell you, books cost more than a freaking winter coat, like what the fuc-. I already spent almost a thousand Canadian dollars on books only. My mom told me that she will send me a thousand next month for me to buy food or clothes when needed, I love this shorty.

Today is my official first day, I say official because last week I had orientation. It was nice, but I was all shy and stuff, I felt vulnerable. I'm going to my first course, according to my timetable it's a two hours course. We starting the week, light and easy. I walk in the lecture hall and oh boy, that's a lot of students, must be about 90-ish students and it's a large room too. Sorry I'm just use to high school rooms and the amount of students in a classroom, so this is all new to me. So I go on and take a sit wherever and take out, my MacBook for now, 'cause I imagine the professor wouldn't go hard on us...I mean it's the very first day, right?

As I thought, he went soft on us for today, for now as he said it. Mr. Campbell, that's his name, was a young professor in my opinion, apparently he's 36 years old, and the course was an introduction of Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology. But looking at my notes from my laptop, I typed down lot of things. Wow even more than I expected! I walk out the hall and see people gathering on each tables, must be the new clubs registration thing going on. I honestly would like to be part of a club but I have to start looking for jobs, as long as I can avoid some unnecessary things that might grow my stress faster, I will keep life simple. I have 30 minutes before the other lecture starts then after, that will be it for the day. The basics of Social Works, I'm so exited! While I sit in the sun, I put on my Beats and play some music, text my mom and send some meme to my brother and he replied to me almost instantly, telling me that my old bed is all his now. This kid never grow pfff. It's the beginning of September and the air feel cold to me. Oh dear Canada. Can't believe I'm gonna be 20 soon at the end of this month too.

As the course end I felt beat, three hours lecture is not a joke plus the professor started teaching like we were in the middle of the year, saying that she's doing it for our own good, so we don't fall behind. Like sis we just started today, she didn't even present herself properly, now that I talk about it I don't even remember her name.

I go up to my room, do some work and get things done, then I browse online for some jobs near by. I print out some resume and head out. As I help myself with Google Map, I go to places that are hiring and drop off some resume and go back to the dorm. The morning after I had English and Sam had that too but not Mindy. I go up to him and sit beside him.

"'Sup Raven didn't know you had English with me."

"Hey, that's my line too though." I smile.

We talk about whatever and about Mindy, until the professor started talking. Suddenly the door opens and a student walks in real fast and randomly comes up and sits beside me, pulling out his laptop without minding the glances around him. Also Asian, quite handsome with these glasses making him look soft and mysterious. The professor didn't mind him that much, so he kept his lecture going.
