Chapter 24

As soon as the event was the done. Everyone parted their ways to celebrate. Some of them asked for a picture but mostly they talked to the other agencies who're waiting for them.

When Jennie met Lisa's team and Seokjin's team, she didn't bother to waste her precious time to talk to them. She proceed to the exit where every newscasters were waiting for her to come out but the Lady didn't answer any questions as she ride the car immediately.

Lisa's team stepped inside their service and let the driver do his job. They're not talking since the moment that Jennie showed up unexpectedly. Lisa look on her phone and answered Somi's call.

"I couldn't believe Jennie is already a Lawyer" Dr. Lee said in disbelief while looking outside the window.

"Yeah" Jisoo mumbled and lean her head back on the seat.

"She even changed her name to Ruby Jane.. How?" Dr. Lee looked at them, Lisa ended the call and her gaze met Dr. Lee's "Do you have any-"

"I don't have.. Why would I have any information about her? I don't care about her life" Lisa said and look outside the window as she frown..

Jisoo rolled her eyes and shut her eyes to take a nap while they're still on the road.

"I'm thankful that she has a good life now and I'm so sure that she's really happy" Dr. Lee uttered as he look at Lisa and smile.

"Then good for her" Lisa replied, not even looking at him.

They arrived the hospital without any single word to each other. They get off the car and proceed inside. Lisa was walking in her fast pace and didn't wait for the two. She headed to the office where Somi and Liam are waiting for her.

"Dada!" Liam excitedly said when he saw Lisa walking in.

"Hello My stress reliever" Lisa giggle and carry her son. 

"What made you so stress?" Somi asked and wipe Lisa's sweat on the forhead when she reach her table.

Lisa just smile and kiss her "Nothing. The whole event was boring" She retorted.

Dr. Lee and Jisoo went in followed by Ten behind.

"Oh God! You met Jennie??" He asked, really curious. Somi and Lisa are talking that's why they can't hear what they're talking about.

"Yes we met her but she acted like she didn't know us" Dr. Lee said while taking off his coat

"Ruby Jane, right? Wow" Ten said in amusement and slump his ass on the chair.

"Anyways, let's just focus on the important matter here in work before we think of somebody else" Dr. Lee told him and pull the drawer.

"You are right!" Ten stood up and look at Jisoo "Dr. Kim, let's go for checking"

"I'll be there in a minute" Jisoo said and rested her back on seat.

Dr. Lee took out his pen and note something but as he move his hand, he stop and stares on the door while thinking about Jennie and her baby.

"How are you Jennie?" Dr. Lee whispered and gaze on Lisa who's laughing so hard to her son and fiance.

"Thank you so much" Jennie said and step out of the car.

"Just give me a call tomorrow morning Ma'am!" The driver said before Jennie close the door.

Jennie arrived in the village around 2pm, she decided to go home after the event so she can pack her things and prepare everything she needed for work especially her son. She hurriedly headed to Bobby's house where everyone is outside and having a bond.
